I was looking for something that was secure, out of site, and removable.

Found this young manufacturing company and had them send one out.

Personal vault fits under my 80 series seat.

Interior - Soft durable inside not to scratch your cash 10"x6.4"x2"

Nicely built easy to access works great for my needs.

Now I just need to find the perfect place to mount another one in the LX470

With all my stuff in its place it would take some hard looking to find it.

I like the Bottle Cap Seat-Bolt covers!
How much for a set shipped?
Can I get them to match my interior?
Are other brand names available?

The vault is nice. Is it locked in place with the key while it is in the vehicle?

Not sure what the future is as a retail item from me. I just fell upon it and ordered one and was impressed overall with the product. I am in contact with the manufacture as to dealer available but for now Im just happy with mine and look to see what outside interest/input I get.

You can modify the factory powder coated finish any way that fits your needs.;)

There is a smaller version with a small price difference but this size is my only interest.

Did you remove seat to install? Is mounting bracket attached to bottom of seat or to floor somehow?
Thanks!

I'm not sure I see the point? I would think you would want to at least lock it to the vehicle with a cable.

I have to imagine that if a thief comes across something like that they'll just take it to open up later.

Once the bracket is bolted down and the vault is locked in place and can only be removed from the bracket once its unlocked.

Thanks for pointing these out - got one for Christmas!

I used the exact same model to install under the front passenger seat after I removed the rear heater. It is a perfect fit and not easily seen.

That's a good bit of info right there as I was curious how to secure the vault to the vehicle. Good place for the gub and other things!

I got one a few weeks ago, haven't installed yet....possibly this weekend. Maybe a dumb question, but how hard is it to remove the front seat(s)? Never done it, but assume its a few bolts and maybe unhooking a couple electrical plugs for the auto seats? But is it a one (wo)man job?, would my scrawny lady arms be able to lift the seats out or will I need to recruit some help?

You can also buy an additional metal sleeves

Best price I found - Ebay $33 shipped

4 bolts 1 electric plug - unless you have heated seat then add 1 more electric plug

Very simple, a few bolts and electrical plugs as you mentioned.
I'm sure you could handle it solo but having someone there to help maneuver it out of the rig would be cool.
