Well I’ve been working with a vinyl guy on the center emblem and the final should be done mid next week. $80.00 is a lot of coin for one 18” round sticker but this is a special project. Just don’t tell Ginger. Thank you to all the chapters that have sent me stickers for the hood project. I get a little smile everytime I sort through them and think of the names and faces of the clubs that they represent. So far I have: Cascade Cruisers (Holy Cow 8”), Channel Islands, Toys on the Rocks, STLCA, Rice on the Rocks, Cottonland (I’m going to have to get a black background to stick under it, white on white won’t work), Dakota Territory Cruisers, High Desert Cruisers, Rising Sun, Capital Land Cruiser Club, Razorback, Mountain Transit Authority, LSLC, The White Trash of the Elwood Chapter (Gabe has tried swiping this several times for his Peg Pergo), NW Cruisers of Idaho, and True North Toyota Land Cruisers Ottawa Valley Canada. So I’m short quite a few, but I’m going to run what I have. I have a Wasatch Cruisers Jeep Recovery Unit Sticker that I might use to represent them. And of course I have a big banner Tornado Alley already across my rear window wing. I should also have a TAC one coming soon for the hood. The DS main side is getting done first. Right now it says Land Cruiser in the 80 series script in Silver and below it has a Mud and Pirate sticker. I think I’ll also add a TLCA.org and a Toyota Script with the sombrero T to finish out the doors. The back is reserved for a special vendor and the front fender is getting ARACO, Nippondenso, a tire manufactuer, and some electronics gear. Sort of like a race truck. Two people will have sneek peaks before Moab, unless of course you happen down LC Lane to catch a glimpse. Todd K. is one, the other is secret. The official unveiling will be at 2am Wednesday May 3rd in Moab. Don’t worry TAC guys no trailer with a crank this year. The first time the complete project will be seen out of Idaho on trail will be the Rusty Nail Trail early Wed. am. I thank you all for your support and I get excited every time I think about TLCA turning 30. 1976 was a special year for TLCA, it was also a special year for our country it is no wonder the first TLCA logo was red/white/blue. If Ebay treats me well I might even have an original sticker from one of the original County Chapters for the hood too. And it seems there is no stopping this 80 bound for the Rubithon. Everything seems to be falling into place. Thanks again!

Also have Southern Nevada LC now. It has been like Christmas every day.

Cory, Darn! That has to be a USPS thing. Thanks!

Woody, I wanted to cuss and swear at the Mud stickers. They gave me fits getting the black to come off of the plastic backing. I'll send you a photo of the side when it is done. No sneak peaks of the hood though.

The original batches of 'MUD stickers were a PITA, but they also never come loose from the vehicle...lol

The newest batches are the same material, but the backing paper isn't quite such a PITA...

I can send out a toyx4 sticker for you if you can still use it.

Ditto that for Upsate Cruisers. PM me and I'll get it out if you can still use it!

Eric, got your PM. Keep an eye out for our sticker!

I think I have an extra Copper State Cruisers stickers somewhere, PM your address.

Upstate and FL are on. No Copper State or MN Toy x4s yet. The locals have been giving me some crap that I've gone sticker crazy. The center emblem is 20", it is really cool. I'm sorry but you will have to be patient for photos. I'm really trying to hold out until Moab for unveiling. I'll go through my hood tomorrow and update what is stuck. I think all of the chapters participating will be pleased with the results. My wife, son, and I are really impressed with how it is turning out. And sometimes pleasing the wife is tough to do when it comes to Land cruisers. Also I picked up a 8" San Fernando original TLCA magnet from 1977. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to tie it into the whole scheme of things. A BIG THANKS to all of you!

A passing thought as I am converting CD's to MP3's here. Sitting on my computer desk is a couple "TEQ" blister emblems from one of the IH8MUD vendors. Would there be any market/calling for TLCA Blister emblems? I am sure the multi color's of the traditional logo would effect cost, but, I think some would be interrested. I know I would.

That might be something that will be available through the new TLCA store once it gets up and running.

Did you ever get a GA Cruiser sticker?

If not send me the details and I will get on out.

I do have a GA Cruisers sticker. It is one of the big ones. It is on the PS left part of the upper bump on the hood. Only 6 weeks until photos will be out :)

Here it is! This is how it looked on Metal Masher at CM. The Channel Islands sticker didn't last two weeks :frown: and it is a really cool sticker!

I will add more as I get them. I was of course shooting for 100% and as you can see I'm a far cry away from that.

Eric,

Give us a report in a couple of months on how well they hold up to the elements. The FLCA sticker I sent you may fade out in a year or so. Let me know if it does. I'll get you another.

Hood looks good. Good luck on getting the other chapters.
