does anybody make them for the 100? It was 100* in Central GA today and felt like I was driving around with a wet towel on my back and a small child with a torch. Yes, I had the windows up and AC blasting. I had to lean towards the wheel to cool down.

I was just thinking that same thing, riding around in Louisiana's 95 degree heat today. Stuck to the seat. The A/C in the 100 isn't real good.

My wife's Mercedes has the perf seats, and man they are awesome. Would love to find someone who could make these for the 100 series.

Come here to san jose, I have a friend who will make the perf seats for $300! haha

i had perf seats in a S 500. they were very comfy, even had the ac in the seat, but as they aged it seemed a lot of the holes connected with cracks, and yes i cleaned and conditioned the leather. Durability is a question.

Keep shooting at your truck. I would love to swap in some Avalon seats with the AC in them. Mmmmmm, no swamp ass.

Im not sure I need that much perforation. I do however have a perforated headliner, which makes a lot of difference. I don't think they would crack if I shot them up...

also, maybe you should try tinting your windows.

PM AATLAS1X he can get you perf'd seat material; I want to do the same. When the :princess: bought her new '07 RAV4 she, despite my pleas for cloth, insisted on leather (can't get seat heaters with cloth ). To my total amazement with its perforated leather backs and seat center panels the leather eliminates "sweat back"...even when its 114* degrees in Sacramento ;)

Made a believer out of me!

Strange: With Toyota you can get a RAV4 with perforated leather but not the 200-Series! You have to cross over to the LX570 to get perf'd leather...and you get forced ventilation too.

Our 2 Benz's (black/black) have perf'd seats and they don't make you sweat as bad as the 100's. I'll give Shane a PM today.

I think it would look better as well.

Hell, our 05 Solara has perf'd seats and you don't sweat your ass/back off as much in it w/ the top down as you do in a 100 w/ the AC blasting and windows up after being parked, and it doesn't have the ventilated seats like the GS/LS sedans.

I have perf seats in my 80, they are awesome. You can have a shop re skin your seats for $300-400 depending on options. I opted for the heated seats due to our bitterly cold winters in So Cal.:flipoff2:

Perforated seats with AC integrated is what you really want... I thought that was a silly concept until I was picked up in a Caddy with nice cool air blowing through the seats years ago... Isn't this an option in newer LC's or LX's?

I drove a new F-250 with cooled seats - very nice! Can you strap an aux fan to the bottom of a seat? Cooled seats are just moving air from what I've been told.

My 05 Lexus ES has the cooled seats and they are great. Would be nice if you could retrofit this into the LC....

There is a ton heat coming from the transmission tunnel. I wonder if some kind of shield or liner could be installed under the truck to assist. Perforated seats would be great even without the the air blowing through them.
