I have for sale a brand new still in box North West Fab Black Box C dual transfer case, and a used 80 transfer case.
Dual case setup offering hi 1:1 and low 2.72:1
This does not fit an 80 series, if you want a dual case and a HF2A tcase in your 60 or 70 series or even a h55 swapped 40, this is the box for you.
The box adapts an 80 or 100 series transfer case to the older H55F/H42/A440 transmission.
Different adapters are available from NWF if you want it to adapt to a different transmission/tcase.
Newer generation case with the slight increase in oil capacity, and tapped for a cooler.
Includes a used 80 series hf2a transfer case.
Never used and sold project vehicle it was going in. Retails for $3389

Not a buyer, just a curious spectator. Is there an advantage to going with an 80/100 tcase over the earlier splitcase in a build?
 
Hmm, thought I already replied to this. I would say whatever is available to you to use. The 80 or 100 case is usually cheaper and in my opinion, it’s a better transfer case with a few mods, part-time spool/gears.
 
Perfect dual case setup to h55 manual swap the 90-92 fj80 and retain the newer tcase.
 
What exactly is included with the black box besides the used 80 transfer case ?

Is it the newer case ?

I don’t get your point here, are you interested or just trolling? If you read the ad it has all the info in it, it’s not rocket science. It’s been forsale for over a year because it’s a very odd trans/tcase combo that is not a direct fit for any specific Land Cruiser. It was going in a crawler 70 series project that changed paths. There is no more info that could be added to the post, it’s a simple dual case from black box with a certain front adapter and a certain rear adapter!
