Oxygen sensors for 93-94 FZJ80's... cant find 24044 ntk

Are they long enough? The reason I ask, is because the 24044 from NTK has a much longer wire than the 24080. Not sure if this denso is the same as 24080 from NTK, but if it is, it probably too short. Did you run these two with success?

Also wanted to re-mention this is for a 93. I thought I would have to do plug surgery in order to use a denso part?

Damn, you got trust issues?? LoL.

I would not recommend if it did not work.

Lot of trust issues, especially for people on the internet. Sorry to ask, I just cant hold you to that info if you are wrong.

You are telling me that the 24080 will work for both slots on a 93, and be long enough? Curious why nobody has ever mentioned you could just buy 2X NTK 24080?

That would have been nice to know.

So just called NTK :). Looks like the NTK 24080 should fit and work where the 24044 went-- but the wiring will be too short. @migz808 how did you get around that? I would like to just find a part to use, rather than rewire.

DAMMIT!!!!! LOL!! Buy 2x of Denso 234-4520. They are long tails. You will get NTK OEM Toyota 89465-60051
. Not NTK24080 or 24044.

I got the 24080 to fit both sides of my 94 with a little harness routing tweaking. The Denso solution will work too.

Went with Denso sensors, but had the same concern since they both came in the same length. Just routed it a bit differently and it worked fine.

Where you able to find some, I ask because I got the same exact problem on my 93.

No there are different Denso parts: 234-4520 fits the '94, while 234-4153 and 234-4157 from a later model require surgery, as described here:

Does anyone know a place that has the Denso 234-4520 in stock? I need two for my ‘94 and can’t find them anywhere.

Looks like OOS everywhere. Denso and specially NTK have been out of stock for a while. Best bet is to call a Toyota dealer and see what they have in stock if you need o2 sensors.

Best online Toyota store so far that I have dealt with is McGeorge Toyota in Virginia. Call them and make sure the item is in stock before you order online.

Thanks for the replies. I really want to try to stay away from the bosch sensors as I have heard bad things about them with the 93/94.

I have called a few local toyota dealerships and they say they are NLA from Toyota.

Got mine on Amazon a couple of weeks ago...actually came in as real NTK parts too, not some generic thing like I was expecting to show up....

Amazon product ASIN B0018JQHZY

I haven't actually installed yet though...when I pulled my connector apart on the inboard sensor, it was full of water....dried it out, put some dielectric grease in there, and all good! 80 is recently new to me and originally an AZ truck that probably saw about 1" of rain a year...went through a torrential downpour driving home 3k miles and started to stumble a bit at idle, but made it home ok with a rich 26? code...
