While I can't do this now...due to job constraints...would be cool to tag along on at some point.
Looks like the guys over in the MS forum do something like this a good bit. I think most of the crew around STLCA seem to own 40's, a few 60's and 80's.
Anyway something to consider....at present I would just tow my junk to some offload point and join the crew...and use the pickup-trailer for the pavement side of things. Anyway I think it would be "cool" thing to do. May have no rock-crawling at all...obviously not something for hard core trail rigs...
I'm too low geared at present time to even consider long pavement trips and the 60 or at least my 60 is not the most comfortable thing to spend an extended period of time in... maybe I "gots to save up and buy an 80 or something"
I know there's got to be plenty of places to visits/check out ...etc that may not be real hard core trails but would be something you would not take your general stock street machine to check out.
