eBay Our 1HD-T Diesel 80 series on ebay

We have decided the 80 series 1HD-T conversion is done, and it's no more fun if there's nothing left to do on it. It's up on ebay, ending on Friday next week.

It's a beautiful cruiser, some of you may have seen it at cruise Moab this year.

Our next project will be a BJ74 LHD conversion and Vortec install, stay tuned.

I don't get it. Why do people even bother to bid knowing that the auction isn't going to end at $5000? Do they really think they'll score this rig for such a small amount?

Well say I bid 50k for the truck ebay will not list it automatically at 50K it will slowly step it up to the next highest bid that way I get it at the lowest price possible. At least this is my experience with ebay. I think people are testing to see what the reserve/interest in the truck is.

Very awesome truck wish I had the funds ready been keeping my eyes open for a nice 80/100 series for the wifey. Good luck with the sale hopefully you get a good price for it.

I think some people just bid, knowing full well that they're not going to be able to buy it for that price.

Ebay is pretty exciting though, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens

I've bid $15,000 already but it won't appear until somebody else bids let's say $14,750. What do you all realistically think it will go for? I would assume that it will be over 20k based on the others I've seen feel, both cummins and toyota diesels.

I just checked out this 80 at Tor's shop a couple weeks ago. Its very nice. Clean inside and out, looks OE under the hood. I dont think he should sell it
