hehe sorry, they do powdercoating , but they paint as well.
I will media blast and paint the doors to match the patina, not powder coat.
Depending on where the rust lives, maybe just the lower bits, leaving the upper half normal patina ( no surface rust up top )

Sorry, crazy day and I am writing things that do not make sense haha!
I have no idea why I typed powder coating.

Problem being my seals are so worn/degraded/ almost non existant, that i can hardly tell what they are supposed to look like....

Any one have a set they can photograpgh, or possibly measure for me?

Some one very likely has had to so something like this before

what dealer did you try c-dan? IIRC it was an e code and had to come from japan.

How tough could it be to make reproduction seals?

I see eshlan has some on the doors he offers, but i have no idea where he gets them ( he is pretty busy and have not been able to get ahold of him )

i am doing one thing a bit better than just taking measurements for ya...i cut off a small wedge piece from my fst canvas door weatherstripping when i say small its small but...you can send it where ever you like and maybe they can copy it? also i have a small piece of the oem fst door channel that it goes in. I can send you both if you pm me your address

I would take this on...but...i have too many things going on and plus my wetherstripping is less than 11 years old

I will take pictures tomorrow
