Ok guys, what are you thoughts on this FJ45 from Australia

AUStoUSA.com

Seems like a solid body with some interesting mods. Its far from original and the steering wheel is not in the preferred location for us here in the US, but compared to what FJ45's are going for here in the states seems like a good deal with potential.

What do you all think?
Would you roll the dice and buy something like this sight unseen?

Thanks

If the body and frame are rust free and that is the true final cost to purchase and import it's not a bad deal. Driving from the wrong seat isn't that big of a deal. I have 78' AUS spec 45.

Wow,things have changed I have imported 13 cruisers from AU and never paid most of those fees listed. Mine were all roro maybe his vehicles are in containers. I always talked to the person I was buying from and they delivered to the port for me for the most part for free. To be honest it never cost me more then $2600 to ship any cruiser and that was to the port of Baltimore. But if you don't want to do it your self I guess it's a steal.

Which 13 Cruisers?

Oh god I have to remember now . My Arkana which I still have, 3 fj45 Troopies ,one of which is still here on mud a few fj 40s a 1982 bj40 lx 2 1983 fj and bj 40s 1 fj45 LV that Greg mushroom bought and a few more, I have to look back at my paper work. The best was the LV,I picked that up while vacationing, it cost me $600 US dollars .

In my opinion if you went there and had a month or so you can still find a nice cruiser for little money. Plus our dollar is very strong and it's a great time to purchase.
