Hey Guys, Has anyone run these tires? How do You like Them? Please Give me some feed back...

i think they look awesome too!! Prices are very reasonable too... I just want to know if they perform

the center lugs are very close (good for pavement) the outer lugs are shaped to channel water or mod outwards as they spin (in order to dig down for traction) the outer lugs do appear to be designed for mud traction but dont have alot of void between them to really grab alot of material in the muck for forward motion. also the 2 channels between the center lugs and outer lugs i would guess are there for channeling water outwards (highway feature)

I would guess these would be designed for more pavement while still looking aggresive but should perform off road like a middle or less ranked mud tire. This is also indicated by the sizes availible, 20's and 24" rim sizes availible.

But if you have a DD and dont abuse your cruiser too hard off road they might be ideal. Maybe you should buy them and do a tire review!

I have heard good things of them on the FJ Cruiser forum where some guys drive them.... Most went for Firestone Destinations as they are cheaper and have a better performance rating than the Kumhos...but good tires.

Not those particular tires, but had super service out of 3 sets of Kumhos I bought over the years for my Land Rover. I'd trust them on name alone. That looks like a good 50/50 tire that should wear do well on pavement or off.

Thanks for the input guys. My friend has put three sets of Kuhmo's on his mustang and really loves them. Obviously HP Street tires are totally different from Off road tires, but he really thought the quality was there. Currently I have Bridgestone Dueller AT REVO's on my for Explorer and love them they are absolutely incredible all the way around. They are obviously not made for mud bogging or anything, but an awesome DD tire. For my cruiser I wanted something a little more aggressive but not a super swamper. I am thinking these are going to be a good choice.

33x10.5x15 is what I would do....good compromise between footprint for soft stuff and tall skinny plus that is size I have on my rig

I have Kumos on one truck and Hankooks on another. I am 100 per cent sold on South Korea's ability to make quality tires at a resonable price.

I think they are a cheap tire with to many compromises. They skate on wet roads. They have poor lateral traction characteristics on any traction (or lack thereof) condition. They clog badly in goo and they wear extraordinarily fast. Did I mention they don't balance well?

If your spring over on stock springs I would say at least 35s. I actually think 35s are about perfect. My thirty fives on Soa and 2inch body lift almost look small, but stuff beutifully even with negative backspaced rims and 1 and a half spacers.

I've had pretty good luck with the Korean tires as well, although not this tire. Good bang for your buck,but for a few dollars more, I'd get the Firestone Destination MTs, as they are rated better all the way around.

dont overlook the new bfg km2's mud terrains i ran the old style and they wheeled great and great tread life and my buddy has them on his diesel and they are holnig up great

I forgot to mention The KM2s are what i'm running. I've ran goodyear mtrs bfg allterrains, and bridgestone duellers. KM2s are hands down a much better tire than all of these. I can't speak for wear yet but there quiet (relatively speaking), and get great traction. I went in for 35 bfg all terrains and walked out with these after the salesmen kept promising they should last 40-50k. So far there barely showing wear after a few thousand miles. I think I walked out at $930 after the rebate tax mouting and disposal. MTRs wear way to fast, I had no complaints with the Bridgestones and the bfg all terrains but they don't loook near as cool or get as good of traction as the km2s. For the price that they have on their you can get the KM2s or less actually in the 35" variety.

Hey guys, Thanks for all the feedback!!! I am so glad I have waited to buy my tires. Wasn't sure about the Kuhmos. I have had the old BFG AT's and didnt care for them too much. They lasted forever, but were very noisy for the pattern they had. When I bought my REVO Duellers, I was floored by how awesome they were all the way around. I cant give enough credit to those tires, I just wish they were more aggressive looking. I am going to look into the BFG KM2's. Keep the thoughts coming. I'd like to here as many oppinions as possible! Thanks!!!

look at nitto too they have a trail grappler and a terra grappler and the always awesome mud grappler but i hear wear isn't that great on the mud grappler i do think they discriminate towards the likes of 15 inch rims though i cant remember

I have the KM2s in 33x10.5x15 on stock chrome wheels on my 60..... I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my FJ Cruiser.

I like the look and off/on-road performance of the KM2s on 60 and will likely replace them with same tires. On my FJ Cruiser will likely go with Nitto Trail Grapplers now that they are released...awesome tire. If not then Firestone Destination MT or Toyo OpenCountry MT.

How are the KM2's holding up in terms of wear? That was my only concern with those tires...
