Zoltan, you got yourself one of those 4terrain clutches - I will be buying one in a few weeks, supposed to be the best clutch going for the 1HZ T with big power. Let me know how you like it.

Regards,

Any idea how it compares to the Exedy Safari Tuff clutch...
Exedy - Safari Tuff

...which is what I often hear is the best heavy duty clutch for a 1HZ?

I've talked to a couple of guys runnig comp trucks, after they blew the safari tuff they went to the 4terrain, all info I could find on them said that 4terrain were holding up when others wouldn't.

Simon, I need one of these as well, can you check out the pricing for a 2003 HZJ79 please.

Regards,

Louis

i got a 4 terrain one, cost me $600 AUD

Repco, a national auto parts store, quoted approx. $800 Australian, inc GST, retail price.

Please let me know how you go with your email to them, I'd like to know exactly what their cost is to suit the HZJ78, as the earlier mentioned prices were for HZJ75.

Thanks.

The website says 675 aud, and 615 cdn, shipping is 270! I'll order it in the next couple of weeks.

OK, didn't notice the 1HZ for year 2000+ before, right at the end of the list.

You should be paying $614 Australian, since you don't have to pay GST, if they can avoid GST when sending outside Australia, which I assume is what the international pricing is for.
