I'm somewhat surprised at the number of people that have expressed an interest. I know it is a really rare Land Cruiser but I didn't think it would appeal to many, much less Rice's wife. I will always love the look. There is just something about those corrugated doors and paint scheme.

For now, I'm going to continue to enjoy driving it and find excuses to run errands in the evenings and on weekends. Come Logan's Run, I hope to have decided on a price and a plan.

no...you can't sell the queen of patina....

Put a bid on there knowing full well that I'm not going to hit your reserve. Also knowing that if I did my wife would kill me.

If it were mine, the front fenders, hood and the rear tailgate would be removed and buried in moist soil for 6 months... ;)

If I were keeping it and money were no object, I seriously consider finding a cruiser boneyard out West that had a hood, apron and fenders with matching colors and patina. I didn't come up with this idea. It was JP's and I like it. I have the original tailgate and it would take a lot of work but it could be made functional.

Just been siting here, flipping through the pictures trying hard to convince myself that buying this is a really good idea and won't lead to a divorce....

Is it Gone?:(

Not sure what's going to happen. There have been 7,800+ page views and there are 252 watchers. Despite this interest, there have been surprisingly few calls, PM's and emails. Although the write-up and pics are relatively thorough, I was expecting to field more questions and request for info. The countdown is on. :(
