It's not mine (yet) but I have had a good amount of driving time in this car. Far and away the best car, in every sense of the word, that I've ever been in. I will own one, if not this exact car. It was fun putting an exhaust and chip in this thing, really woke it up.

That's a beautiful car. And you wrenched on it too...love it! Make it happen.

So these are our current rigs

The majority of them are getting sold due to life issues lately but i've promised myself another fast car before I turn 40 (damn that's a scary number)

Rally Car (88 Celica Alltrac)
Really don't want to sell this since it is a fun car and a rare one, not fast by today's standards but that is easy to fix. But it will be up for sale shortly.

Lexus LS ultra edition
In terms of comfortable DD that can move when you poke it this is hard to beat. Dead set reliable except a few luxury electronics that i've replaced. Just change the oil and filters and the T-belt every 100k and you are good. This one will be sold

01 Focus ZX3 (only photo I have) this one will stay as Andrea's DD. Drives amazing for 240k. PO did lots of suspension work on it so it handles decent for a FWD car.

68 bronco 4bt swap (this one is not going anywhere)

Other than that the 100 is getting sold leaving us with the Focus and Bronco. I'll be getting a cheap simple truck or SUV that can tow the bronco when needed and is reliable and easy to maintain. My commute isn't far so MPG for my DD isn't a big deal.

Previous cars and SUV's include
the 80 series on 39's
3 suburban 4x4's (two diesel one gas and lifted)
Ford Ranger
Toyota Pickup
Mercedes 300SDL
A whole host of fast american muscle
A 3 series
Mazda 6
etc...... not going to list everything

Auto right ;)

@lt1fire Please I hope you are kidding about that 911 big auto.

@shellb did he hold out for a manual in that blue GT3? Fingers crossed he did. The appreciation on that car in manual is absurd, check ebay for people that flipping new ones in 200k range.

I prefer manual as well. Learned to drive on farm trucks and 911 with a manual.

If I had the coin, the 100 would be converted to manual already.

Really want a 1970 to 1973.5 911 converted to 3.0 or 3.2 one day. The 911 I learned on was 2.4. Looked like the attached. All the nice folks in Johnston County called it a vw pumpkin bug.

I have driven lots of manuals (Vette's, GT mustangs, MR2's, E30 M3, S4, 944's. 924's, CRX's, etc) and nothing is like the 911. I am bias and I know that! ;<)

I have not driven many newer manuals. I need to get back in the game.

Audi S8 Manual would be da bomb.

2008 MB E350 Wagon 4Matic - sticks like glue in snow and ice - getting sold soon. Is it weird to have 3 100s?

Yep completely kidding. Johnny hates autos, maybe more than I do.

Too bad its auto bro :p

But really i cant swap it.... the pass front door is the only one that works anymore and have to get in and out that way lol

I drive my Wife and Daughter's 2018 Rav4 like a rally car. We got it for the closeout sale and the fact that it has the safety features I wanted for them with their vision issues. I also don't want my Daughter driving my Tacoma :\

Toyota put a relatively large exhaust on it, which is weird for Toyota - reminds me of the 22RE a bit in sound, which I loved, too.

Here it is after I did a few things to it:

I recently watched a video where a guy swapped that motor into a MKII Mr2... seemed a match made in heaven.

He did hold out for a manual! Its a sweet car that he waited a long time for. Hope he keeps it vs flipping!

Early 911s are crazy $$ now too. Agree nothing like it...bias is ok!

@shellb friend has a 72 911T he is putting a 3.0 in. And he just found a 1980 euro 3.0 that needs a fender. I will post pics.

Everyone has bias its a fact of life. It's normally what they are used to.
