We picked up Brinkley end of January at just about 2 1/2 lbs and he's now just shy of 10 lbs. He's a Mini Australian Sheperd/Bichon Frise mix.

I love this place!!!!! I've got a new best buddy, his name is ED and he is a horse.

We introduced Pi to Ed right away while holding him. Nose to nose at first, now that Pi gets around well he walks right into Eddie's stall. Eddie chases the other dogs and cats out of his stall but he bends down and nuzzles Pi.

So I guess we are Redbone Coonhound people now.

Added another to the pack - her name is Peach, because she is one.

Don't know much about her history other than outside kept backyard breeder hunting dog (high heartworm count, underweight, skin issues, all being resolved in my care) , clever as hell and sweet as pie.

Peach, Banjo and Jeb all try to cram into the XL dog crate together at night, so I'm going to confidently say there are no adjustment issues and everyone is happy.

Highly recommend these dogs - just gotta be firm and consistent with training (and have some upper body strength, ha)

JR spent part of the summer at dog camp and then summer school, while we visited Yellowstone. Turns out summer school was fun to learn to think and how to make good choices.

Crina. Had her a little over 2 years. Lab, Border Collie, Chesapeake Bay retriever mix. Sweet girl, loves to play with other dogs. 85 lbs of solid muscle- ask me how I know. She's a rescue too.

We introduced Pi to him right off as a 5 week old puppy while holding Pi and letting Eddie sniff him, Pi started right then licking Eddie's nose. Fast forward to this morning's firs walk and Pi walks up to say hi to Eddie as usual. Only today Eddie did more than sniff at Pi. Eddie "Pet" , rubbing Pi's head with his lips, just too cool!

Sarah likes dressing the dog. This is what she looked like when I got back from Logan’s Run. I guess she was a bad dog while I was gone. Or maybe she’s a huge Nikki Sixx fan from the “Smokin’ in the Boys Room’ era.

Girly dog Roo introduced herself to Winston the American Bull Terrier last week. Next up - @Fort Knox's Jackson!

I kept thinking about that old Bugs Bunny cartoon with the little hyper dog sprinting circles around the larger slower dog (I wanna say they were gangster dogs?) saying things like "Yeah, Mugsy, you're in charge because you're so big and strong!".

to be fair @mtweller I may have worn her out last night during the Dodger game doing celebratory laps of the property after the walk off winning home run with her in her jersey and dodger hat. Plus she stayed up and partied with me lol.
