Well, it all started when they hung my bounced check on the cash register.

I'm the reason they now have size/weight limit signs on the ball pit.

I'm telling ya, the band took requests the last time I was here!

You kept requesting david alan coe's "you don't have to call me darlin" song, and clarence carter's classic, "strokin" didnt you

I had a hard time trying to decide between sad faces and laughing faces on these last few posts LOL

My multipurpose mobile work station thing, went down - - lack of owner care. It was down like 4 flat tires.

Decided I couldn't take care of tube tires any longer on anything other than vehicles and personal bikes. I'm out on wheelbarrows, shelving, etc. Went with foam, 10x3.5.

Had to do some fab work on the axles . . pretty rough, pipe cutter and aluminum tubbing. Tough day at the shop. Let me know if you need help with yours . . .

BTW, I still owe some bourbon to @Keep for the donation of the original design :)

If I don't make it up this hill then no one will

Justin and family are bee keepers. This is from yesterday, the first rob of the season. Note the difference in color. Two hives, side by side produced theses. Bees from one hive fly in one direction and pull from flowers etc the other flies in a different direction and pull from trees etc.

I haven't been able to watch this video yet, but it's interesting the problems got to be so widespread Toyota recalled them and issued a stop sale. I'd be bummed if I bought one to be honest. Good news: bad news scenario unfortunately for all parties.

Its gonna be a s*** show - issues with "debris" (supposedly from a bad tolerance somewhere) causing main bearing failure - they will likely want to fix vs replace engines as they have been doing. They are stopping shipments on 10 models at this time.

10? TEN?!?!

yikes.

was this motor used in other vehicles before that. There is always some hiccups when you go from a big lazy NA V8 to a higher strung turbo (more moving parts) V6. Ford seemed to get it right with their ecoboost motors after a few minor hiccups at first. GM just upped the power on their NA V6 and did a turbo 4 cylinder instead.
Interested to see how this pans out. Isn't this the same engine in the GX550?

The recall is for the LX and the Tundra only, but here is a list of all of the vehicles with the V35A:

Wikipedia:

The V35A engine is a V6 engine series that was first introduced in 2017 for the XF50 series Lexus LS. Despite its "35" nomenclature and being advertised as a 3.5-litre engine, its actual displacement is 3.4 L (3,445 cc).

V35A-FTS[edit]

The twin-turbocharged version with 10.5:1 compression ratio. Pumping losses have been reduced by electrification of the waste gate of the twin turbo system. The engine achieves 37% thermal efficiency.[18] A hybridised version (marketed as "i-Force Max" in North America) is also available with the same engine designation as the regular variant.

The hybridised version was named Ward's World's 10 Best Engines list in 2022.[19]

Kind of strange the exact same engine wouldn't get a recall all across the lines
The LX and Tundra are the heaviest but that's all they really share in common.

Most of you know @GarnerFJ40 and most of you know his daughter Lily. Most of you also know Brian hasn't been as active as he used to due to work schedule and the insane schedule of having two girls on multiple softball teams as well as travel ball schedules. All his effort and time has paid off though as Lily's HS team won the NC state championship last weekend and Lily won MVP of that series. She is now up for multiple other awards but Eastern Carolima softball player of the year is a public voted one. Please join me in voting for Lily on the following link. Softball player is about half way down the first page. Click on her and then scroll down to next. Keep hitting next until it let's you submit and you're done..... about 20 seconds total. I think.you can go back in a vite.more than once. If she wins it I may send a bunch if free beer to the as party again this year 😉

I voted for every Lily on that board!

If you put 100 red ants and 100 black ants in a jar they will go about their lives and leave each other alone

If you shake the jar they will both perceive the other as the threat and begin attacking each other, never considering who is shaking the jar............

Are we as people not wise enough to step back and see who is shaking the jar?

Is the sprinkling of these chuckwagons that is making it hard to see.
