Ordered some Bilstein 6112's for the 4runner - putting 1.5" on the front for a little better ride and clearance. Bought them with the top hat installed, so no more near-death experiences like with the Tundra :)

Looking forward to swapping when they come in!
Wait….. hold on a minute…..
So, let me get this straight. After all this time, you’re back in the T4R?

In Salt Lake City tomorrow. If only there were a place that has vehicles I like all under one roof? Any ideas? Haha.
Might be a couple dealerships with cool rigs if anything... haha

He'll at least think YOU'RE cooler than you actually are if you mention having laid hands on some of my collection before that freak canoe accident. He's definitely one of us.

Ask him if curiosity ever got the best of him while staring at that Garand beer I sent him. I only sent one as a kind of torture, knowing he'd probably want to put it on a shelf but would eventually need one last beer for the night. ;)

I ain’t cool. You know that. I am cranky, unforgiving, ornery , and judgmental. Never cool to be me. I will definitely say hey on your behalf.

You are more like a delightful hobbit but go off

Don't you know, CDan only drinks Coors (light?) 🤣

I have a gas tank in my boat with about ~130 gallons of gas in it that I need removed so I can replace the tank. I prefer to either take it somewhere / pay someone to remove it. It's marine grade fuel (e.g. ethanol free) and was treated with Stabil in February.

Does anyone know of a place / person to pump out and remove the gas?

130 gallons !!! that's crazy.

If the gas is still good I wouldn't mind taking a few gallons or more if I can find a big enough container. I have a pump that should work to pump it out.

Yes, gas should still be good. Please take all 130 gallons - free!!

I've got a drill motor transfer pump and could take 5-10 gal if we're gonna fill up all our cans, lol.

I usually don't have any trouble getting rid of gas. Just ask my wife! :rimshot:

So, tech people... My phones and computers are working just dandy on my Charlotte house wifi right now. None of the TV's are getting internet for the last hour. They all say some form of "not (or may not be) connected to internet". Gone through the kill/replace power cables, check for network, confirm network & password, but no dice on anything other than cable channels. 4 TV's, 2 brands, all the same situation. All the proper modem and router lights seem to be lit up.

The hell of it is that the same thing happened at my mom's in VA last Thursday. I reported it Saturday. They sent a tech today but all I know so far is that it's working now. WTF?

In this case, a series of modem/router resets did the trick. Five, to be exact.

In VA, I still don't know, but Xfinity pinged the modem a few times and got no response so I'm guessing they replaced it. I'll find out tomorrow.

This is why I don't want a wifi doorbell or lock or etc. It seems every time I go away for 3+ days something stops working right and takes a manual reset, at best, to get working again. Ugh.

As crappy as it sounds, sometimes that crap happens. Minor interruptions in their network can cause a quick loss of internet connectivity, then the residential side devices don't always gracefully recover.

You didn't have any power blips did you?

My usual trick is to power down the modem/router/TVs, wait 5-10 min, then power on the modem/router, wait 5 min, then check via phone to see if wifi is up. If it is, then power on TVs and whatnot. It doesn't happen to us often, and it's definitely a pain when it does, but such is life.
