Not certain to your particular inquiry but a $100 resonator can be had to be welded at the exit .... i have one by vibrant to be installed

I think there have been a couple threads on the 100 series forum on adding a resonator.....

Anyone has used a good watch repair shop? I changed the battery in my old Luminox and the second hand is sticking on the minute hand for a few cycles. I was going to toss it, but decided to check current prices. Wow! I thought it was a cheap watch. Luminox has a repair place on RI, but wanted to fix it locally if that service still existed.

Only place I saw on googlemaps with very good reviews is "A Time 'n' Place" near uptown Charlotte.

Theres a good place in Asheville I have taken a couple of my Seikos to if you want to drive out here.

Nice.

I like the sound so is there a way to have both and some kind of bypass to run through the resonator and then sometimes not.

I wouldn't think so unless you ran some sort of y-pipe/flap (like they used? to sell that allowed people to bypass their exhaust systems) at the place where you put the resonator and continue the tubing run so you have two exhaust pipes coming out. But that seems like a lot of extra work for not much........

Or I could just drive really easy when the wife is around.

Exhaust cut out is what you are referring to. Plenty of them available

I'm old, I had one on my 57 Belair. Had to remove it and second straight pipe for vehicle inspection.

We used to add a bypass pipe with a 1/4 turn manual valve for racecars, there are tracks with sound restrictions on Sunday mornings before noon, simple turn the valve and normal sound, open the valve after noon and wake up the dead.

I've been watching some wrens make a nest in the rear bumper of the green 80. One of them flies in and out of the HI Lift hole in the side while the other just flies under the truck. I need to go put a stop to this before they make too much progress.

I was able to discourage the wrens from further nest construction inside the bumper shell but they took advantage of my absence over the next couple days and build one between the license plate (on the ladder) and the tailgate. I figured they earned their spot by then so I left them alone. The mother seems pretty cool with me coming around to peek inside. Four or five eggs were laid. They started hatching last week. Looks like there are 2 babies. It's pretty cool watching this but I can't wait for them to leave so I can move the truck to get some work done on it. I've had it on a battery tender since I can't even start it due to the nest being right above the exhaust. Here's a pic from yesterday.

Anyone know if there's any similarity between a 2nd gen 4runner (94) front bumper mounts, and an FJ60 (85)?

IE: if I find a front ARB style bumper that was pulled of a 94 4runner will it fit on the 60?

Can be made to fit; probably will not line right up otherwise. Believe Burt's 62 sported a tacoma arb.

Already accessorizing my not-even-week old motorcycle. Just bought this Givi top box and attached back rest for @MaryTandra to have something to lean against and add some storage for my commutes.
