Doing a test run on some antique lights pulled from mom-in-laws house. My Misses grew up with these. Probably only one other member on here might know what they are. Wish I could do a video, but am challenged with all that.

they are the liquid filled lights that were banned due to them bursting/causing injuries and starting fires. My friends tree used to be covered by them in the early 90's. My parents refused to get us some due to concerns and a few years later they were banned or at least stopped being made for the most part. I would imagine they still use theirs also.
Right place, right time. Just finished unloading. Got these drawers for free and packed full of old metric hardware.

Figured out my retirement plan ....
Stealership quoted my mom $68 PER PLUG to swap 6 plugs in her BMW.
(Plugs are in the mail .... $48 for all 6)
Man that's way coolA coworker brought me this as a Christmas present. I've not heard of Tomica diecast cars before, so I was excited. Anyone know about these? They even got the bezel on right!

I picked up a used RC4WD Trailfinder 2 from @little_joe back in October for Nathan for his birthday. Thanks, Joe!
Nathan is rough on his RC's. On its initial run he blew a dog-bone in the front housing and that collected a bearing as well as a knuckle. New HD XVD axles, new bearing set and new knuckle and he finally got to have some fun with it over the weekend.
I am pretty impressed with the quality and scale detail of the RC4WD stuff. Nathan and I are working on a "show" body for it that will incorporate some scale accessories. The show body will not see much trail use. I'll post pics when we finish it.
