Newest season... looks like it will be good.

At times the show seems to get tooo preachy and semi whiny.

I couldn't finish last season as it seemed way tooo preachy and just lost my interest.

I liked the first season with its different place every episode and liked most of the second season. Didn't really like the third as mentioned but I think this one is shaping up to be good.

Completely agree Al!!!! The first season was great, but it seemed everything started to go downhill after that. Towards the end it seemed they were lecturing all the time. There is a good way to do it and bad way. For example, I believe Mountain State Overland does a much better job "educating" without sounding preachy. Watched all three episodes yesterday and it seems like they are getting back to their roots. Hopefully they have learned and moved on. Now if they will just replace the damn windshield. It was driving me crazy.

Agreed on all statements above. Hope they return to the way the first season was done.

Don't let it seem like I hate the show though.

Their trip locations are epics and their camera shots and editing are up there with the top gear staff. The continuous shot edit from the start of this episode where he gets out of the truck and walks into the garage was top notch. I think that is what Clay did before starting expedition overland. And i'd join them for a trip at the drop of a hat.

I like mountain state overland also. Bold Overland is another good one. Neither of them have the shots/trips/or editing of expedition overland but also don't have the negatives that have been said about them.

I also really enjoy 4xoverland as he does trips all over the world and pretty good vehicle comparo's from an overland perspective.

I'll still watch these.

Anyone know if the expedition sevens team is ever going to release a DVD of their trip... all i've ever seen are 1 minute clips and the part of one of the expedition overland episode that covered a short leg of it.

car talk

finally something awesome for the old 912.

ha! I was sitting there waiting for the Sti to show up - then I saw the wideband gauge on the dash and turned the volume up... duh!

The bold guys were at the 36 hour race and camped beside us. They busted out the rear glass on their 80 on the reverse challenge.
