I live in LA and sold FJ60 this time last year in great condition for 19k. Rust free and almost everything gone through already.
This is the Bat and Corsetti craze for sure

Well... there IS a sucker born every minute. I was going to go kick the tires like I know all of you REALLY want to. "Low ball"... would $3.81 be too low? I forgot. Vehicle is in Anaheim CA, the home of Disneyland... specifically... fantasy land.

Is anyone else sending this guy funny messages just to bring him down to earth? Maybe I’m evil or just bored.

Yes, that roof rust would even scare away a buyer even from MI, OH, PA, NY, MA, VT etc.

I did....I sent him a email but I was very polite and just basically told him with the rust repair you’re asking waaaay to much money.
told Him it’s a sweet rig but priced ridiculously to high! He never responded back but my intentions weren’t to get a response,I was just telling him politely what he had with rust repair work etc..

Trail... you were very kind to him. The interior does look nice, including a non-cracked dash. Sadly, it does reflect "non-adult" ownership with a lift/tire/rim treatment and of course, the obligatory focus on a radio replacement. With 156K miles it needed a repaint in the recent past? Odd. And, having owned multiple 60's, the excuse of rust on the roof from leaves is pure bogus. But it's LALA. Maybe there is a sucker out there as LA is known for its turnip trucks and things falling off.

Thanks.
yeah I’m sure there is someone out there that might bite on it and if so then good for him. In my honest opinion if he was a true land cruiser enthusiast then he would know he doesn’t have a $30k truck,we all know what it’s worth is etc so it sounds like he’s either a noob trying to make a flip or he just poured a ton of money into it and is looking to get it back? Again either way with the rust it’s definitely not what it’s priced at. Maybe he’ll eventually come down if no one bites on his asking price?
