That looks great. I like the design and how it follows the body around to the flairs.

Yeah, im super happy w it, binks cutting the fairlead mount mondat at his shop and im considering a conservative 'stinger' i made for it. They sorted out pricing on these for those who are interested. Call the shop or email jeremy if u need a front bumper. They ended up being very well priced in the current 80 bumper market and the look and low profile design is uniquely original

very nice!!!

Really like your design!!!!:beer::cheers:

One benefit of taller stinger is you can gauge the front better. But that looks bad ass like that. Light tabs on it???

Anything u want is possible. Hes selling these bumpers now. Two completed units will be on the shelf by the end of the week...i ran those 7" hid lights u could buy at kragen/shucks two summers ago in moab on my one ton tacoma and im lookin for another set for this. I lit up all of kane creek slong the cliffs edges at night where i was pretty nervous. Theres a flattened, upsidedown wagoneer or similar at the bottom at one point on the trail...eeeeeek!

That looks awesome! What thickness of steel is the winch mounting plate/support made out of? Would these come as bare steel in need of paint or painted/powdercoated? I would love to see what they would look like with some tube headlight protection put on and some recovery points welded onto it. .:eek:

Bumper looks awesome. :clap: That stinger is just like the one I put on my home made bumper. Low profile and clean!

Who is "he," and what's the ball park price?

Bumper looks great, I like the low profile stinger/winch protector. Did he do any kind of bracing behind the bumper for the wings? The wings a subjected to lot of leverage due to the weigh of the 80 and their length.

Theres 1/4,3/16and1/8 on this. He has a great powder coater but the shipping always scratches it up and ruins the customers brand new product...

Theres a lot going on in the winch area to keep it from tweekin(these trucks are heavy).

Theres six bolts on the frame On each side of these, two bottom, two side and two on top of the frame...12 and 10m case hardened(grade 8), but u could even weld it on if u really wanted

I hate typin on a phone, two thumbs... Ill get some good pics for u

U have skillsand patience !!!!!!!

Cutting those pieces out by hand w the plasma and then grinding it all smooth, filling gaps w weld where the fitup(by hand) wasnt perfect....

I saw all the little things u built in ur thread. Uve not ur average guy in the garage w a welder for sure! Im copyin some of ur stuff on my 80:)

Contact info is further up in the thread and i paid less than i would at slee, but i believe slee powdercoats? I had a voice in this and he was willing to do more tubing around headlights, additional light tabs, etc for minimal $ increase. Theres recovery points and fairlead area still going on this. He worked when i could get over there on this. Its my DD and bink was very patient and flexible

Ill have to get u some pics when it comes off so u guys can see that area and the winch mount area. Also Dring recovery points welded out on both front and rear and are positioned at the framerail for the best spot to pull

Thanks man! I like seeing more threads on here where people build stuff from scratch. Thats half the fun with these trucks, building them up! :cheers:
