I am still working on the details but I thought i would go ahead and throw this out. We are going to do trail maint on friday with STLCA. Times will be posted later this week.

I need everyone to think about coming a little early and helping keep Tellico maintained. UC uses Tellico quite often. This would be our chance to return the favor.

From my understanding this is some of what they need.

We will need people to run interference for the dump truck, a spotter, a relief driver and if the second truck is repaired by then another truck driver. We also need someone to work traffic control for the track hoe. If you can help please let me know what day or days you will be there. Thanks

I will sign up. I am dropping the kids at school that AM and will try to get a vacation day to help. Might not get there till lunchtime.

Dianne and I plan on heading over (up?) on Friday, should be there around noon or a little later. Be glad to help out.

We'll be there Friday early!
Will there be something to keep Maria and Isabelle busy on Friday?

Since we are staying on the TN side at a campsite there won't be as much to do. There is the river of course...but not much else.

Sadly, I dont know that I'm gonna be able to make it up there in time for this. It will probably be about 2-3 o'clock before I would be leaving for this trek, unless others from the NC area chime in and want to head up there. If the cleaning will still be going on in the evening then count me in.

who cares, still head that way and stay the weekend to wheel! :)

What I have so far.

Friday
From Rodger with STLCA

We have a couple of projects that need done, the highest prioroty is cutting the rhododendrons back on trail 4 from trail 5 to 8 and on trail 8 to trail 9. This will require pole saws as they need to be cut back to clear the 5 ton dumps. They are so bad on trail 8 they will be an issue for wagons and FJC's also. Let me know if your friday crew is up to this.

Sat

We will have all the materials and post drivers. We can meet at your camp on Saturday morning (or Friday evening if you prefer) and go over with the group leaders what needs to be done, I think maybe 3 groups to get all the trails done in one day. I will probably have to drive a dump truck on Sat. so will not be with a sign group.

If I am able to get there in time i can help on those trails, my wagon doesn't care about no stinkin bushes!!!

You are going to have to make better time than what you have listed so far in your trail leader thread if you are going to make it. I am not going to ride up with y'all cause I want to get there before, um, I don't know, DARK.

revising the drive thread

I'm signing up for workin' on Friday. I should be up there around 11, but will be on my own 2 feet for getting around once there. Do I need to bring any tools? I do have a pole saw.
