I think the confusion stems from the earlier markings of driver or passenger that were so designated for rh drive vehicles and we would "switch" them for lhd use. in reality we did not change the orientation of the side of the truck the springs were on. the "Driver" marked spring stayed on the AUS. driver position (R) while the "PASS" marked spring stayed on the AUS. passenger position. We just drive on the other side of the truck here.


I think it would be easier for them to just be marked "Port" and "Starboard" or paint a red mark on the left and a green mark on the right or some other universal symbol to designate a side that way there is no way to confuse it.

Now the real question is: these springs are made in Australia, do we mount them upside down to maintain propper orientation?:flipoff2:

No, I think the ones for use in Australia actually have the springs wound in the opposite direction........
