Mine pops and I can see the springs being torsionally loaded.
I grease the bushings at every old change and it always comes back on the front.
I’ll end up welding them. I’ve consulted one of my metallurgists and the heat affected zone from the welds will not compromise the tensile strength in that localized area. These aren’t a post weld heat treated pressure vessel. It will be fine.
