Old man EMU bp51 2018 LC 200 295/65/18

Install done. Wanted to add to the thread for others who may look to go this route. Again, went with 295/65/18s duratracs as well. Only did 1” spacers (bora). The BP51 install included new OME UCAs. Little rubbing on front flaps but heating them up and molding did the trick. Very happy with ride. Took decibel reading. Both at 35 and 70 only 2-2.5 db higher, but nothing noticeable other than a vey little hum from the more aggressive tread.

Drive over to Budbuilt in next few weeks to get step sliders installed.

Hi mate,

This looks great!! Looking to install 295/65R18 onto stock 18inch wheels. 2” lift has been done on front with airbags in the back. It appears these tyres will work how’s I am currently set up up with NO rubbing however I am concerned the spar will not fit in its current location with this tyre fitted? Has anyone come across this issue?

Hello all,

New member here.

Last week picked up an 18 LC200 with 11,000 mile on it in bristol condition.

I immediately purchased Old man EMU BP51 with SPC UCA's and 2722 springs and 1.25 spidertrax wheel spacers because of the tires choices im thinking of.

My lift will be here tomorrow and I have been contemplating some tire choices and am asking for some opinions as time is coming VERY soon and I have to make a decesion.

I did use the search function and did not come up with anything on 295/65/18 tires
My choices in tires are as follows

I'm looking for All terrain tires, will mostly going over passes in Durango Colorado an Moab

285/65/18 32.5" roughly and 11.22" wide with no need for wheel spacer on this

305/60/18 32.4 " roughly and 12.1" wide with 1.25 spacer

295/65/18 33.1" roughly and 11.61" wide with 1.25 spacer which seems to me my favorite choice
I may have some slight rubbing with the latter two, i'm not sure but whatever, it can be remedied

Im running the stock wheels and plan to have them powder coated because I like them

Any input would be highly appreciated and thank you all.

Not my LC200 but this is the look i'm going after and it is Oldman emu bp51 set at 2" on stock wheels and 305/60/18 and 1.25 wheel spacers

I fit a 295/70/18 in spare location.

It’ll fit no issue. Nice and snug but fits.

Looks good! How are tires on the highway so far? I never considered a 295/65r18. I’m running 285/70r18 Grapplers and want something quieter. Personally would prefer stock tire sound and comfort for my road trips. The 94 mph speed rating seems low. Granted, I stay around 75-80mph. The Duratracs are probably better for snowy regions and I rarely see it here. How’s the Bp running for you? You mind sharing your settings front and back. I need to play with mine to find that sweet spot of plush but not spongy.

Sorry, I meant compression and rebound of the bp-51 but now I’ll compare my height as well. Thank you

Thank you! I just did a Ironman 4x4 2" lift on my LC over the weekend, That's the measurement that I have after the lift with 285/60/18. Looking to get some new tires and I came across this threads, And your rig inspired me to get 295/65/18.

Sorry for the late response. They aren’t as quite as I’d hoped. Purting them on my ‘04 100 series and thinking of the copper at3s in a 275/70/r18

Sorry to ask, but want to clarify. This is
BP51 2”
SPC UCAs
2722 in rear
295 tire?
Just trying to the rear spring correct with 2” front lift and trying walk a local shop through what’s needed
Yes, you have it correct.

Yes, you have it correct. 295/65/18 and the wheels are +25 offset

Hi, nice setup, LC looking clean! Question for you..did you install the spacer only on the front? I have same wheels and BP51 and just installed KO2 295/70/18. I'm worried about the rub on the sway bar or any other critical component. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Normally you would install spacers (or same offset) on ALL 4 so that the wheels follow the same tracks. It's not good to have a wider track in the front and a narrower track in the rear.
