It's a multi-fuel carb/engine. Gasoline, water, PeMex, coleman fuel, methanol... Pretty near anything that is liquidish.

Maybe it is a 1967 replacement engine block?
IIRC, there is no difference in the block & crank for E-1967.
Oh yeah, a 5-digit serial does make it pretty early. F engines went in buses & dumptrucks & forklifts &..., so the numbers go up pretty fast, even though few cruisers were produced.This engeine has only five digits after the F in the serial numbers Ever one else I've seen have six. It's a 57 not a 67.
By Oct 67 Toyota was making the F145 not F135 to put in the 68 FJ40s.
