OK, I'm ready for the weekend (more bedliner)

I'd kill for a shop like that to work in whenever I want. I do my work in the driveway, even when it's -30°C out and snowing!! Paint me jealous...

I used to do the same years ago, but now I've gotten so spoiled that I won't even check my oil without going to the shop first :o

You should've seen our old shop though :)

Every toy you could imagine (24 lift bays, super stretch alignment machines, 3 dynos, a brake testing skidpad, full body and paint shop with 3 booths, complete diag equipment, etc., etc.)

Best of all, it was open 24/7 on one of the busiest streets in NYC

Prep work looks great. What's the verdict on the texture?

It's not what I wanted, but It actually doesn't look too bad :hhmm:

My biggest gripe is that it doesn't match the texture of the black :meh:

Had the Scorpion rep stop by today and he liked it, but suggested that I could sand it down and re-texture, but if worse comes to worst, I'd prefer to redo the black to match

I'll post pix as soon as I'm done putting her back together....

The original bumper got smashed by a freezer and Mike @ BIOR won't be able to start my custom winch bumper until March, so I'm gunna hack the current bumper a little and stick it back on later today :meh:

I still need to give her a good wash and detail cause she's covered in bondo dust :o

Turned out great! If I thought I could have mine turn out that nice I would be tempted to try this.

I think it looks great! That is pretty thick texture, but I don't think it looks like a "screw-up"... At least it appears to be consistent.

It's much more textured than the black, but it's growing on me :meh:

What are those little black things on your front flares? Lights/blinkers?

Side view cameras ;)

Wow, you really inspired me on painting mine, I can't wait for spring to do it.
One question not related, I noticed your auxiliary fan on one of the pictures, what diameter is it? & brand if you don't mind sharing.

your rig amazes me time after time. ( like that song)

What flare gasket trim did you use?

Amazing paint. Is it something a guy can do without such an impressive shop?

It can easily be done at home as long as you have a proper air supply :)

If you don't, I think Al's can also be rolled on :hhmm:

What flare gasket trim did you use?

Basic automotive door edge trim :)

An $8 buck roll will do all the flares and have about 5 feet leftover

Florida and New York just might be considered more interesting than Omaha, Nebraska.
