Anyone ever piece together a Oil return kit for the Transmission/trany like the one from MAF? Can get hydrolic hose fittings and a hose for a lot less than 55 bucks... is there something I am missing?

I looked into it trying to piece it together myself, but after all is said and done I wouldn't have saved that much money for a similar setup. If I remember, the metric-hose fitting adapters were about $10-$15 each (special order only), then the hose itself was around $20 or so. I ended up having the local hydraulic hose company make everything for me. Total cost was around the same price as MAF, but I was able to get it in a day. The first one they made too short, so I just took it back and they gave made another one on the spot. It's way overkill, but that's one more thing I don't have to worry about anymore.

I think if i were to do it again, I wouldn't mind having a clear hose just so I could have a visual check of the oil level without taking it off.

Man...that is what I call a response...part numbers, page numbers... you guys rock. Little more work than ordering from MAF but saving 20 bucks is 20 bucks. Thanks guys!
