Oil filter re-location?

I would like to upgrade my original oil filter system. Is there anything special about the the spin-on system that SOR sells or can I simply get one from my local Car Quest?

ford style ph8a filter screws right on i think thats a fram no. good luck

Oil filter re-location bracket?

Can I find the bracket and hose assembly at my local auto parts or do I need to get the SOR system?

Get the SOR system or find the parts off a later FJ40 F engine. You won't find these systems at the local parts store...
