G'day Mates! Thanks! She is essentially a ONE owner with only 260K km's, A/C, P/S. Complete stock except for the Thomas 8000# PTO winch, and the dealer installed side-facing rear bench seats which were installed 3 days after the vehicle was purchased new. It was originally sold as a 3 seater. I have ALL the the service records, manuals, tools/jack, etc. that came with the cruiser when new.
The 2H purrs like a kitten. the H55 shifts smooth and tight. I'm used to my 84 HJ47 Troopy, so when I jumped in the HJ75, I was amazed at how much quieter and smoother is rode....P/S has a lot to do with that, but also the 75 dash helps to deaden the noise it seems.
The interior is pristine. I think the cruiser was a 'mall-cruiser', 'grocery getter', or the wifey's car because it really seems that a woman drove this car for the last 25 years.
Mods planned:
--Later model sliding windows for rear cargo. Anybody got some?
--Turbo, eventually
--Dobinson or OME lift -- seems to be toss up as which lift is preferred. Your opinions?
--OEM snorkel
--Rear tire carrier, maybe rocker/sliders.
--Roof rack, possible RTT.
--Window tint
--Some kind of stereo. It has the stock radio but no CD,etc.
--lights for the bull bar
--seat covers
