Left one is in need of a fender lift. I know a good surgeon for it's 37 yr old figure. :)

It's not a Cruiser, but I added another Toyota to the horde. That makes 4 in the driveway counting the wife's Rav4. It may not be a Cruiser, but it'll sure as heck tow the Cruiser. :D

Great looking truck Allen, can confirm the towing power of these trucks as I have seen them pull 10k lbs. boats.....lets not talk about fuel mileage though......

Hell yeah.....I test drove the new Tundra when it first hit the lots. Uber nice!.......I opted to hold out for the diesels though....I hope they're worth the wait.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've been pleasantly surprised by the power just driving around. Really hard to keep my foot out of it. Fortunately I only have a 5 mile commute, or my spending on gas could get ugly. I think that if I can keep from putting my foot down regularly, it won't be too bad. Of course....what fun is that? ;p

highland - Yeah, I'm sure the diesels will be nice, but I can't imagine needing more grunt than the 5.7 provides.

Dang Allen that is a sweet truck. Don't get too used to it and it's comforts and power, else you might not enjoy the two other Toyota tractors you have. ;)

Thanks Joe! Don't worry, the Cruiser will still get driven on sunny days. Or at least it will when I sell the Honda and can get the driveway rearranged so that I don't have to move a vehicle just to get the Cruiser out of the garage. :)

As for the 4Runner....it'll be pretty much a trail rig only, other than occasional jaunts around town to keep the battery charged and the gas fresh.

Yeah, I get your point. What does "need" have to do with anything, right? :D

Of course, if I ever find myself WANTing more....I could always sell a kidney to buy the TRD supercharger for the 5.7. That would boost it to 504 hp and 550 lb./ft. An extra 123 hp and 149 lb./ft.

finally got a pic of the pup and the rig

Ok, thought I would put my rides in here officially!

Here is where I started with ONSC - my 93 Land Cruiser, factory e-lockers and MTRs that I picked up along the way. Later I put on some rock sliders after a bad case of rock rash!

Then after a while I figured out that the I-6 was not really strong enough to pull my 28' camper down the road and hold 65mph. I did some swapping and have a tow rig and then decided to have a TRAIL rig again.

Bought a 85 Pickup that already had some axle work (5.29s and rear spool), sliders, bumpers, rear bed was shortened, etc. I finished painting it here in June 2009.

Always wanted an FJ40 but my 96 4Runner will have to do. Slowly making it mine and it may not look it but it has come a long way since day one.

Currently looks like this but now has stock size tires on them and not the little 245-70-16s in the pic.

Do you work/live off Six Forks in N. Raleigh? I work near Six Forks and Strickland and see that 4Runner all the time.

Jon - I forget where you got the 40. Did you happen to buy it off of a dentist? The reason I ask is b/c the dentist whose office is right next to my office building has/had a 40 that looked just like yours. He used to drive it every once in a while to work, but I haven't seen it for a while.
