Has anyone ever tried putting 3rd row seats from, say, a '96 cruiser into the back of a '40? Or are they really wide?

Saw it parked with a For Sale sign on it yesterday. My favorite color for these trucks, but I do not think it is what I am looking for.
CarFax shows 5K miles on it since 2006 (either that or the odometer is broken). AutoCheck shows it as a 2 owner. It looks fairly straight with the exception of the front bumper and hood and a little paint cracking on the right rear corner. Interior looks to be in good shape. It has been at this shop for a week or two getting some work done (I do not know what ).
Thought I'd pass it on.
