That being said, I am now officially in the market for a 13-15 200 series to be my daily driver / overlanding / road trip / rig. Is anyone looking to part with one or know someone who is? Built or not, LC or LX, but with very strong preference to black interior. I'm open anything if it makes sense.
Still in the market. Would also be interested in a higher mileage lower end of the price spectrum 16/17 (Especially an LX)

I am looking for a 200 for the wife as well and had a buddy of mine look at this one down in Charleston that I passed on. Family owned car with kids so not the cleanest interior and has a crack in the bumper. I have additional photos and his contact number if you're interested--he let me know he would most likely take $41k.

That is a good deal for a 2017.

Front Seats out of a '70 FJ40 I believe. My dad sold his red 40 and the guy didn't want the seats. Figured I'd see if anyone wanted them before tossing them. They are rough but Free.

Post it!!
Sweet!

I’m going to preemptively say I plan to be a long time member of this forum since we have a LX470 as well. I keep thinking about just keeping this LC for myself but between my wife and I we have 7 registered and insured vehicles, plus a few projects, some things need to go.

2002 Toyota Landcruiser, 261K Miles, Rebuilt Title.

Recently purchased as my wife and I were after a LC or LX470. My sister has a GX470 we always liked but wanted something beefier. We purchased this one with the thought of seeing how we liked them and ended up loving it but finding the exact LX we were after 3 days later. I wish we had waited a bit longer so I didn’t have to jump through the hoops with this one, but it’s such a pleasure to drive I’m not really mad about it.

I have gone through and fixed little things here and there, replaced random light bulbs, did a coolant flush (OE), new thermostat(OE), valve cover gasket (Felpro) on the drivers side, etc. Has a new radiator and steering rack, timing belt and water pump was done in 2021 as per the previous owner. Also doing an oil change this weekend.

We bought this vehicle because I looked at 20 or so and it was by FAR the cleanest one I looked at that wasn’t in GA or 20K+. Spent its entire life in NC, very very very minimal rust . Was involved in an accident carfax would describe as halfway between minor to moderate. Airbags did not deploy but it was immobilized and had to be towed away. I’m thinking a balljoint broke or something because I don’t see enough damage to total one. Including pics of the body with the fender removed as well.

It’s had 60K put on it since being inspected by the state and rebuilt, does not track or wear tires weird, goes comfortably down the road at 80+ with a finger on the wheel. We were able to have full insurance put on it as well without any hassles.

That being said, it’s still a 20+ year old vehicle, it will need tires before too long and I think it has a blend door issue. The heat works from the rear but is a little iffy from the front. Heater core is clear but only blows 100-110 when the vehicle is warmed up, rear heat is ~160 and between all that and the butt warmers, it’s not an issue at all staying warm, but worth mentioning. Gas guage works when it wants to, it likes to read empty and work its way up, but if you need to know the level accurately, cycle the key and few times and it pops back to life. The only key we got with it was a black OE key. It does not unlock the door but starts the engine fine. I honestly don’t know if it’s just worn to the point that the door locks don’t like it, I have not investigated it further.

Asking $7500, but open to chatting about it or partial trades, if you are considering one give this rig a spin before writing it off.

Looks good. I have zero need for another vehicle as well, but this is tempting. I miss my 100 series.

Also terrible at remembering things, I do have the OE running boards. Passenger side was a little tweaked so I popped them both off since I don’t personally use them and I’m fat so oil changes aren’t my friend on low vehicles. They are “ok” and color matched, the front most mount could stand to be tweaked or replaced but they came off fine.

I have a family member that might be interested in this. We’re in upstate SC though. Maybe I can convince one of my friends more local to you to check it out for us.

Not mine. Someone posted an OEM Land Cruiser Jerry can on FB MP. I wasn’t even aware that was a thing. Marketplace link below. Appears to be located in Holly Springs, near Raleigh. I can pick it up for anyone further away.

These are pretty cool. You can still get them through Toyota, but about $275 each.

Anyone need some 18" GX460 wheels?

I have some listed on the Mud classifieds
