Starting to part-out the rear of a 94' LC. The quarter panels and flares are already sold.

UPDATE - everything has sold except for the rear sway bar and the Safari Rack. My apologies to those people who inquired about shipping parts - I am not set up to properly package heavy items of this sort. -T

Never mind - it was an old for sale thread.

Not mine but it was on the main mud classifieds. (5) FJ cruiser steelies with 315 MT in Lake Wylie

The original post is from 2020. Someone bumped an old thread which sucks because I am currently looking for those steelies

Gents - Need two items for an upcoming H55F swap:

1) FJ40 Transmission Hump - Mine is original and coated with bedliner. Would love to find one I could hack up.
2) FJ60 Manual Transmission Inspection Cover (see pic)

LMK what you've got and thanks!

Selling the wheels I bought from Japan to put on my Cruiser now that I've decided to sell it.
JDM 3-piece Work Deerfields
16.5x9.75 -21 (16.5" tires only)
Only issues are cosmetic, I was planning on disassembling them and refinishing. The barrels are welded so it would take a cnc or something to cut the weld to be able to do so.

Looking for what I have in them,
$1000

Located in Pinehurst, NC

JDM cruiser for sale

Planning to delete the AHC on my girlfriends 99 LX470.

Looking for non-ahc torsion bars and springs if anyone has some laying around.

Thank you!

Now also need a late 1982 or later split case. Anybody got one they’d be willing to part with? I have lots of goodies to trade or cash money if that’s preferable.

Thanks gents

I have a splitcase and four speed but not sure of the year. I believe it is a small pattern gear split case but not totally sure.

The case rotates freely but the trans seems locked up…I bought them as cores to rebuild but life has gotten in the way. Consider these cores and they will be priced accordingly.

I’m in Durham and can check details on the case if you are interested.

Thanks Jon - very interested. Could you take a pic of the front half of the case? As I understand it, the correct case has a 4wd indicator switch somewhere on the front.

Might be one of these circled:

I will get some pictures this evening.

@Jeff Elliott - see pics below. This case is an early variation with a manufacture date of September 1982 and was the #9065th built case that month (2i9065). It has the smaller 34mm idler shaft and is a manual shift version opposed to the later vacuum shift ones. More splitcase variation details here --> http://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/tech_split_case.html

The case appears to be locked up (it shifts in and out of 4 high but the rear output doesn't turn - would require rebuilding). Comes with the 4spd transmission that it's currently attached to. $150

ONSC Fam,

I will finally be ready for a topless LC. 40/43/70/73, etc.

I looking for a 40 footer. Minimal rust. Might need some minor work. Not concerned with a factory hardtop or doors. This truck will be used to run around Oriental, NC. The top and doors will stay off. I would prefer a manual with a Toyota engine, either diesel or gasoline.

If you see anything, please let me know. I am not concerned about the color.

And if you have any other places to check besides craigs, mud and fb marketplace, please let me know.

Budget is $12 to $18k. Prefer lower and put in work if possible. Ready to buy at the end of July.

I just missed one in VA for $8500. It was on FB marketplace for a while. It was topless 1970 40 that was capri blue with a little work needed.

Thank you.

Dang Jon - Missed it by one month! Apparently October of 1982 was when they included the 5th gear oiler provision... Thanks for the great offer but this one won't get me any farther ahead (i've got a working Feb 1982 split case now).

I think I am past due to replace the weather stripping on my LX450. Highway noise above 60-65 has turned into a roar (when I used to be able to hold a normal conversation with the sunroof open) and I have a leak (or leaks) that have done quite a number on my interior. I don't really have the time to do this project myself until probably later in the fall, but I'd like to get it done sooner than that. Plus I'd rather work on other projects when I have time. Can anybody recommend a shop in the greater Charlotte area who could change out the weather stripping for me?
