It looks like i NEED to put one of the LX 450's up for sale :(

  • 1997 LX 450 with <135K miles. 4" Slee Lift, new 35" K02 - New double cardan front drive shaft. NO LOCKERS. MetalTech Sliders. $15K pretty firm. NO rust - very clean, drives awesome. PM me for details. Truck drives great. Two issues: bubbling of paint by the rear window (not rust), stereo system is marginal with a speaker missing. Nice cloth seats OR really nice leather that need gears - can put either in.
  • 1996 LX 450 with ~212K miles. $6.7K Engine is strong. Stock-height new OME lift/suspension with new 33" K02 tires. Issues include small ripple in rear quarter panel with poorly painted trim. Rear passenger door only opens from the outside. NO LOCKERS.

Hey guys....long shot here. Looking for one of those interior tire mounts that I believe @Mtbcoach used to make. If anyone has one they're looking to part with, please let me know via PM.

both of those sound like a lot of work. LOL

@FJinTegaCay the Kelly Blue Book is anywhere from $1500 to $4100 for private party sale on a 1997 Lexus LS400. How negotiable is he? My 2003 Camry work car would disappear in a heartbeat for that car.

Oh and my daughter is learning how to drive in the 100 series. Scary, I know.

SM465/NP205 for sale. Included are 465, 205, adapter, cross member, hydro bellhousing, driveshafts, pedals, etc - everything needed for installation. The unit is currently still in the truck, will be removed soon.

$600 for everything

I just saw the post. That price is in the range for a 01-03 LS430 in similar condition. I would imagine the price is high because the seller really doesn't want to sell and that is his sticking point for him to actually do it. I don't think I could sell my 01 LS430 Ultra luxury model for that price around here.

What the heck?

Yea - one of them needs to go. :( Son "returned" the '96 and took our Prius. We are going down to a Tacoma and 1 LX.

We need to plan an intervention.

Well the good news is that it looks like the '97 is going to a club member :)

That will free me up to put all my energy in the '96 :)

Truck is at Mars Fab and we're working on getting the 3 link & new axle put in.

I'll have the following up for sale:
QTY (2) - Dobinson Tapered 3" Coils (they're the Slinky style)
QTY (2) - Dobinson MRR (remote res) shocks that accompany the 3" Tapered Coils up front
QTY (2) - Dobinson MRR (remote res) rear shocks only
--> One shock needs a re-build, I can have it re-built or can sell the pair cheaper and you rebuild
QTY (5) - Spyderlock Beadlock Wheels - 17x9 -38 bs (3.5 bs) - 4 used (300-400 ish miles on road) and 1 brand new in box

I also have the front OEM bumper for a 2014 FJ Cruiser if anyone wants it (come take it)

Ended up totaling my 60 and it is currently at the copart in Lumberton--if anyone is interested or wants any more info on the work I've done or history of it, let me know.
