Sold to auction direct for 33.5. Was a super easy process. I'm betting they have it on the lot tomorrow for 39,500...which is totally nuts seeing we bought it new in December 2014 for 42k
Son is possibly selling his 2002 SR5 Black 4Runner. It is 230K miles, but it probably has the strongest engine and tranny out of the 4 3rd Gens we have owned.
Let me know of any interest. Looking to get at least $6K with really new tires/wheels, rear springs, etc. Very nice shape, dent in rear lift gate, little/no rust

No rear locker, as it is a 2002. 4WD of course.

I passed on this truck a couple of months ago. The owner wanted $8k. I offered $4k due to the numerous little issues. I knew he didn't know what it would take to fix them (honestly, it won't take much). He laughed at me and I left. He texted me yesterday and told me to come get it. He said he was tired of holding onto it. I just purchased another 80 so I can't swing it at the moment. If anybody wants a locked 80 with 160k miles for $4k, here you go. I will take a 6 pack of adult beverages as my finder's fee!
The truck is in decent condition overall. Some paint fade. Front seats have covers on them. There is a roar in the front end. Probably a wheel bearing or alignment issue. Come to think of it, it could be the fan clutch. Truck goes down the road good. Typical seat gear issues, shaky mirrors and broken antenna. AC works fine. I could not get the CDL to light up so I could not test the lockers. Probably an easy fix. CEL is on (emissions). Resistor mod will fix that. Truck is in Lancaster, SC.

My thoughts exactly! I pulled back the driver's cover to look underneath and decided the diaper look, as bad as it was, was a definite improvement. If anybody goes to get the truck, tell the guy I sent you and hold firm on a $4k offer. You'll leave with it. Some of my pics:

I have a Superwinch 8500 Winch that I took on a trade. I already have one so I really have no use for this one. Came off a car hauler so wasn’t abused. I’ve tested it and it works as it supposed to. Comes with the remote, fairlead, mounting plate and a cover.
