These better not be any that I gave away at Logan's Run raffles. That would make me very angry.
You know where I got them . With new grand baby got get rid of some stuff.

I dropped my truck off at the local shop this morning and the owner came out and said he had a cruiser in the back he was working on. The owner is looking to have some work done before he sells it. I do not know a price or the history yet, but I asked him to get me more information. I do not know much about 40's, if the price is favorable would anyone be willing to come to Wingate to take a look. Truck has very little rust, paint seems to be very good, electrical is bit of a mess, there were pistons in a catch pan in the back so I am thinking engine rebuild. Locust NC, anybody know the owner/truck?

Looks like a decent 40

That is my dad's old 40. I'm pretty sure it was 73, 1f, 3 speed, dune beige. We owned it from the early 80s to late 90s. It was sold to the owner's dad, and was a "garage restoration" around 2000. That's when it got the paint and chrome, rough country 4" lift, etc. It was then given to the son. As far as I know, the 1f was dead and hasn't ran in at least 5+ years. I got a few parts off of it several years ago and haven't seen it since. I've got some throwback pics of it from the 80s/early 90s if I can find them.

So some random phone call from a local Greensboro number yesterday, person says "is this James" to which I reply "yes".

Well, that's the scam - they now have my voice on a recording saying yes. They can now use that to apply for credit apparently. somehow.

Who knows. Anyway - here's the number: 336-365-8nine72 Please feel free to call, spam, irritate, dos attack, whatever you want...I tried reverse lookup but it only told me it was a cell number registered to broadband.com.

I hate spammers. They're the worst bottom feeders.

There was an article recently in the news out here about that happening its the newest thing.

Even picking up on the phone today is considered valuable because your phone number is now associated with a live person, ripe for sale to other scammers. Unless someone is in my contact list, no answer.

I think the article was talking about how they would then try to intimidate you by saying they have a recording of you agreeing to something or some crap...hoping you are a total douche and are scared into paying them. Good luck with that on anyone here :flipoff2:

Trick for spam calls.

Most of the systems that make robo calls out have a voice recognition system that will only connect you to the automated menu or a person if it thinks it's connected to a live person. To defeat it, pick up the phone call and just listen, DO NOT say anything. If the call automatically disconnects in a few seconds, it was a spam caller business and you can block their number. If it stays connected and no one says anything, you can choose to do what you want, but 9 times out of 10 if it's someone calling you (aka a real person, spam or not), they'll eventually say something if you don't.

Source: I used to install and support those automated calling systems. Hated every minute of it.

Now, can we get back to the for-sale wanted stuff?
