$60 each huh?

One sheet of plywood cost me that much, and I didnt even splurge for cabinet grade birch. I need your sources.
Agree could be done cheaper but those dont look half assed.....add 2 sets of 250lb slides, 80/20 extrusion, handles, hardware, and a guy not trying to lose money they dont seem too crazy.

I think I ended up with 300 in mine but may have included the $80 dollar air nailer in that figure but mine arent as nice as those and only have one set of slides which i got a deal on. They are bigger however covering 2nd and 3rd row seats.

I wasn't trying to say the guy was screwing anyone, but $600 is a lot of money for a drawer system.

A sheet of 3/4" birch ply is $45 and a sheet of 3/4" common pine is $35 at my local lowes, so if you skip the slides and do beeswax runners which save storage space and money, yeah, I could build 10 of those for $60 each in materials, a little more if I get better wood.

If I went all out with primo cabinet-grade plywood and the best drawer slides, I don't see materials costing more than $200 for just drawers behind the rear seat.

I'm probably going to end up around your cost, $300 in materials, for my new system, but like you it will go all the way up to the front seats!

I'm looking at sourcing Starboard for mine. My father in law may be able to get that and drawer slides at a wholesale price.

Theres a marine place down in Ocoee Fl that does a TON of starboard work. They are one of the sponsors on Ship Shape TV. They will mock up, cut out, and assemble stuff custom...I dont think is cheap though.

Yeah it's never cheap.

For 3/4 or 1" - a 4x8 sheet is between $200-$400.... so yeah. Figure 2 sheets for a drawer system? So just $600 in materials alone, I would bet. That's why I'm trying to get the wholesale hookup. If I can get the sheets for $150 or so it might make sense.

With the right joinery or support, you could build the drawers out of 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch aviation plywood. Its got more plys than regular store bought ply.

If you dont have slides, let me know. Ive got a bunch of diff sizes in my garage that i've squirreled away.

If you guys are looking for drawer systems or pretty much anything send me a PM with a part number. I'll hook anyone up in the club. If your willing to come to Greenville to get it. Bumpers, winches etc. I have just about every account.

Anyone know any more details about this cruiser?

Thinking a road trip might be in my future...Mary has Sgt Pepper, so I have been driving the 7.3 crew cab long bed dually as a DD w a 1 ton block in the back. Don't get me wrong I love the BIG XXX truck, but I miss the cruiser.

I may need a Daily Driver now that I have the Tundra :( Wife is not happy with my attempt to take her Highlander, so she has reclaimed the Prius and I am DD the Expedition Rig!

My Son is also looking for a 4WD 3rd Gen - so we are likely "back in the 3rd Gen" business.
Jamie, for some reason it wouldn't let me send you pics via PM, so I'll post them here... Again, pretty rough on the front but inside is in great shape (except for side of driver's seat). Think about it and no biggie if you want to pass.

Looks pretty nice......There may be a red triple locked 96 with about 200k coming up for sale here in Greenville soon for about $8k. Husband of a co-worker bought it from Marshall less than a year ago but has decided he wants something different.

Hey at least he disclosed it.....
Unlike the dude on main forum that just bought an 80 with a missing front axle lol
