Looking for a set of cheap 15" wheels. Toyota bolt pattern (yes - I got an adapter for the trailer...) Only need 3 good ones. Anyone with a set of 4 that had one wheel ruined? :)

I have the tires already - but ya know I'll take freebies if they're on there.

@tgadd, did you sell yours?

S.CarolinaFZJ80 -

Steering rack - what was happening to warrant a steering rack replacement?

The steering rack was leaking and had torn boots.
I was prompted something was wrong when I made a U-turn the other day and while at the 180 degree point, the steering wheel stayed turned left while the wheels tracked straight. It took a mile or so for the steering wheel to come back to center.
After that, I parked and found the leak. Monitored for a few days and well it's getting a new rack now.

Depends on what is wrong with it, a blown R&P is going to cost you more than seals and bearings.

I know a bunch of you guys end up with old tools -

looking for old bench grinder, table belt sander, or wet wheel sharpening stone/grinder

How much are you looking to spend on a grinder? I've got a craftsman block grinder i restored.

Damn, I would have gone and bought that, only if, I didn't have to get my steering rack replaced on the 100!

I've had a rash of those go out lately. Usually it's unknown to the owner till the pump starts acting up. The boots fill with fluid.

Anybody in the club jumping on this? So tempted as i want a trail vehicle but timing couldn't be worse, leaving Friday morning for 5 days in Dallas and lots to do before.....oh well!

I was texting him yesterday and told him I could see it today and he quit responding. I even have someone that will get it for me for CHEAP.

Yep, no response to my one text this morning but I can't do anything until late next week......regardless of price, would want to see it before buying!

Same here. I have a guy that will go get it for $85. If anyone needs someone to pick up a vehicle this guy I found is by far the cheapest. Boone is 2 hours from me.

I can tell you that I would not put a rig of mine in the hands of a guy charging less than $20 an hour for man/truck or man/truck and trailer.

Just my $0.02

I called when I found it but no answer. I have a buddy that lives in Boone that I was gonna get to go look at it but he never responded back .
