Trick for spam calls.

Most of the systems that make robo calls out have a voice recognition system that will only connect you to the automated menu or a person if it thinks it's connected to a live person. To defeat it, pick up the phone call and just listen, DO NOT say anything. If the call automatically disconnects in a few seconds, it was a spam caller business and you can block their number. If it stays connected and no one says anything, you can choose to do what you want, but 9 times out of 10 if it's someone calling you (aka a real person, spam or not), they'll eventually say something if you don't.

Source: I used to install and support those automated calling systems. Hated every minute of it.
The call started with the person chatting with someone else, like he was finishing up a real conversation, followed by a familiar pause indicating that he just realized I picked up followed by "is this James".... prerecorded? maybe. But certainly not a 'jane the talking computer' type situation.

Looking for a set of cheap 15" wheels. Toyota bolt pattern (yes - I got an adapter for the trailer...) Only need 3 good ones. Anyone with a set of 4 that had one wheel ruined? :)

I have the tires already - but ya know I'll take freebies if they're on there.

Ive got a set of 16 inch 4runner sport wheels, but the tires are shot, so that doesnt really help you out. Also have a set of gx470 wheels with tires (17 inch streeties), but again, that wont help you much.

Yeah - got some BFG MT 31x10.5x15's in decent shape for $40 a piece. Need the three 15" wheels to match. Also 1.25" spacers, so I'm not sure where that leaves me with backspacing.... Not sure it matters though without brakes.

man offer 1300-1600 on that white truck in boone, bring a pair of 14mm wrenches a hazard switch, and a soldering iron, and drive that thing home (assuming the brakes arent totally hosed out back.)

ive already got a white one in the driveway. id be shot if i brought home another one LOLOL.

I'll split it with you and even let you borrow my tow dolly to drag it home :) But yeah, I can't keep it here either. :)

I advertised this a while back but I've finally got the new wheels on the way, so if anyone is interested I have 5 stock rims coming off the 80. Four of them have tires on them. I can have the tires pulled if you just want the rims. Nothing worth mentioning. Show up with a bottle of quality whiskey and it is yours. I'm not partial to Bourbon, Scotch, American, or Irish whiskey. I like them all so surprise me.
