I found a 1977 and a 1974 NC License plates for sale and bought them for $8 each. Glad to resale for that amount to anyone who needs them.

@kulangot is helping me find a mountain bike, so just thought I'd ask if anyone here is looking to unload anything? I'm going to need about a 21" frame, and am hoping to keep things in the $400 and under range for something used. Whatcha got?

Nice plates! Jason, "AS-man" .... complete with backfire.
Thanks Jamie!!!!
There are preliminary plans for a trip to Charlotte this Wednesday to pick up some storage shelves .... maybe can make it happen then.
Thanks.
If there is anyway to get them to my office on Morehead St., I can hold them for you.
So you looking at Wednesday?

Ramon, how tall are you and what type of riding are you planning to do? The reason I ask is because I am 6'2" and prefer a 20" (or 19") over the recommended size of 21". I ride a single speed rigid 29" and although people call me crazy, it's what I prefer. Bike sizing can be tricky. It is easy to tweak reach and seat position but if the frame is the wrong size, you are SOL and no amount of tweaking will make it right. Thanks for the reply Jonathan. I rode a few bikes today at Performance and REI and wound up blowing the budget on a Scott Scale 960 (great deal on a '15 closeout), frame size XL. I used to ride BMX and freestyle bikes as a kid, and then some street cycling in high school, but am ashamed to say nothing since. Lot's to learn, but I rode about 8 miles today and finally remembered one form of individual exercise I actually enjoy. I'm going to warm up on the greenways and similar trails this spring / summer and will shoot for some single track stuff this fall, if not sooner.
