It’s a solid set up, the no front sway bar does wonders, especially with the overall comfort walking over rocks. CVs are still running strong with no evidence of stress or failure. I think I can get another inch out of it with more spacer and uniball upper control arms, as long as the control arms stays off the coil at full droop.

I know it’s not the best idea, but I usually wheel alone and lack the ability to take any good action shots in the hard technical stuff. The only limitation at the moment is not having 37s ;) and the front approach angle is pretty awful.

I’ll stick with the ahc for the next 1-2 years since I still have little kids. Climbing into the truck in H is pretty much impossible for them at this age. If people ran my current set up before hating on AHC they would have a different opinion for sure.

That’s coming from someone who has had a 200 with extended travel kings and a tundra swap…

That Sport grille looks really nice! is it hard to install on non-sport or lux trim LX570?

We had just gotten into some light off roading with our GX-460 (profile pic) when it was totaled back in April. I tried to love a ’23 2wd Sequoia for a little bit because of the extra room, but really wanted a LC200 or 570 the entire time (I was talking about a land cruiser before the GX was even on the tow truck).

My plans for it aren’t that extreme. Take care of any maintenance, then wheels, tires, and recovery points. I haven’t read up yet on the skid plate situation but I think they’re a good idea on any car so I may add or upgrade those if needed. If I can find a way to do it cleanly, I’ll also put in my Yaesu FTM-400.
