There's a super easy 10 minute hack for more upward clearance.

In the top picture where you show the plastic clip and liner. Take the clip out. Stack the liner over instead of under the metal fender tab. With your fingers, you should be able to bend the metal tab up further.

That's it. No need to put the clip back which eats up clearance itself. This should hold the liner up that much higher.
So the metal tab is enough to keep the liner in place? Do I need to remove the tires to do this?

Have you tried double stuffing the rear tires?
No, I don’t know how to test that without getting airborne:)

the rear track width is slightly more inboard than the front though so I expect they’ll barely squeak by.

I did the math based on teckis300 theoretically being able to double stuff 35x12.50r17 at 35 offset with fender rolling…I’m 20mm (3/4”) further outboard than him w my 15 offset wheels, but at 10.50” tire, I’m 25mm (1”) narrower on the outside of the tire…so I “guessed” that sans fender rolling I should be alright with about a 1/4” wiggle room…

Considering under full front compression, the tire, like teckis300’s, gets past the front fender and rubs the upper fender liner, I’m likely in the ballpark of where he is clearance wise.

I’ll try to remember to put it in low mode so I can get a picture of how close the outside of the tire is to the fender in the rear.

Rolling the fenders is on my list of things to do…I would like to run 285 75 r17 next time so I can use the normal spare tire spot next time I get tires…I expect, based on teckis300’s experience fitting 35x12.70r17 (317 70 r17) at 35 offset with aggresively rolled fenders that it may fit 285 75 r17 for a double stuff at 15 offset.

I would be, theoretically, moving from a 266x83r17 (35x10.50r17) to 285x75r17…adding 19mm total width (9.5mm on the outside of the tire)…based on teckis300 math, I’m moving 20mm outboards but removing 15mm of tire on the outside…so if teckis300 thinks there’s 5mm more of wiggle room based on his fender rolling than what he’s currently got, it would work with 285 75 r17 at 15 offfset and aggressively rolled fenders. .

If not, then I stick w the 35x10.50r17…which is fine. They look great, are cheap, have good road manners…the only downside is the swing away…which isn’t the worst thing I suppose-I already have a permanently mounted Wilco hitch carrier there. The tire just adds a bit of weight and complexity to lowering or raising it.

Figured I’d add! New to me 2015 (42k miles) LX. Came from a GX. Love this truck! Just added 285/70/17 KO2 and Method 703 (+35mm). Let the mods begin!👏👏

Love love love these wheels, although I never considered a wheel from that series. Hmmm. What other mods have you done and do you have any rubbing issues? I am also in Houston and also new to the club, having recently bought a 2017...

Front sensor lift
Method 314 +25
Kenda Klever RT 35x10.5

Dropping it off this weekend to have sliders built.

Looks great. As soon as my current shoes wear out, these are the wheels I've been considering. You may be helping to speed up the process.

Any pics in normal mode with the 35's?

I second that! Am deciding between a Dissent and CBI for my 2017 LX, so this is good timing if someone else is doing the Slee on a 2016+

Dissent is what I had planned to order... but open winch access on the Slee is where it's at.
