To answer a few questions, here is the LX in low, normal and high settings:
I drove up onto a tall curb and turned to full lock before I pulled off the mud flaps. Here is what it looked like with the mud flaps in place and turned full lock to the left:
And this is the front of the wheel wheel liner which is the only place I still rub after removing the mud flaps. Keep in mind this is as fully locked as you can turn, and the rubbing is extremely light. I'll still trim/reform the liner to remove the rubbing, but it's livable as it is. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out considering these are pretty close to a true 34" tire. I previously had 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my fully built 2014 LC, so to fit a tire that's the same size if not a touch larger on a completely stock LX is pretty cool.
How was the ride of the 275 65 r20 compared to the 285 75 r17’s? Markedly softer ride w the 17’s? Markedly more planted feel on the highway with the 20’s? About the same?
