275/60/20 Falken AT3W. My wife was following me in her FJ.That your Lx? What size meats?
ThanksDayam. I enjoy these Sasquatch sightings.
The clearance and approach must be out of this world with that. Perhaps better than aftermarket bumpers as so many of them are projected forward, many well forward, of the stock tupperwear.
What's the next mod![]()
Keep at it! You just make me want a 570 more and more.Thanks
It’s now sitting on regular old RW wheels. The beadlocks are going into a set of 40’s with endless optimism that I can start making them fit soon. We’ll work on the inner fender/firewall area first, then rear fenders second. Rear could be temporarily fixed with extended bumpstops, but, ultimately I’d like to open up the rear fenders somewhat similar to what SWAG offroad did to his 80. Nice thing about the 200 is it already has such a large wheel opening.
After that, I’ll be trying to see how far up we can move the AHC components on the frame (since I have a body lift to give more room above), then seeing how much room there is to tuck a set of sliders up into the rocker panel. This is what I had done on my 80 series. Bottom of the sliders were nearly even with the bottom of the rocker panels.
But it’s all hypothetical until it’s accomplished. So no guarantees on anything. Just have to wait and see.

You’re probably already aware but the front outer fenders are already cut ~2” at the top, more along the back edge in front of the door. Rear fenders are still unmolested so I can measure them for you.Before you cut the fender, mind capturing a couple measurements in AHC high? So I can be in awe at how much height and body clearance you have?
- Floor to fender
- Hub center to fender
42” from ground to rear fender in High on driver’s side. 25 1/4” from hub to fender. About 3/8” higher on the passenger sideBefore you cut the fender, mind capturing a couple measurements in AHC high? So I can be in awe at how much height and body clearance you have?

Edit: …which got me curious, and the front is 43 1/4” ground to cut fender, and 3/8 higher on passenger side too …for those curious.

Dang, some strong numbers!! No wonder it's standing like a Sasquatch way up there. Ever jump to hit that rear hatch close button.Yet still creep into standard height garage doors with AHC low and no rack?
I just looked at mine and from ground to fender - Front: 38 3/8", Rear: 40 1/2". Hub to fender - Front: 22", Rear: 23 3/4"
Side to side about 1/4" to 3/8" difference.
If I'm not mistaken, and if someone can cross check me, stock normal heights for LCs and LXs have the fender at 33.5" front and 35 1/8" rear?
I've got new AHC shocks sitting in my garage. Waiting on globes and fluid. I'm going to try and extend these shocks to get about another 1" droop travel. Maybe add some more sensor lift but don't want to impact towing too much...will see.
Just checked my 2015 LX for ya in normal mode. Rear is 35 1/2” H and my front is 34”. 20” OEM stock wheels and tires.Dang, some strong numbers!! No wonder it's standing like a Sasquatch way up there. How about in High, since we were measuring in HighJust checked my 2015 LX for ya in normal mode. Rear is 35 1/2” H and my front is 34”. 20” OEM stock wheels and tires.
Sorry brother…I just hit the hay and called it a night. I just picked this up. Be glad to check it for you in the morning!I think his measurements are for high? My guess was for normal position, but might as well get both numbers.![]()
I measured the LX (engine running)I think his measurements are for high? My guess was for normal position, but might as well get both numbers.![]()
You only drop 1" between H and L? I assume you actually mean H and N? Even that seems like not as much lift as what should be there. Should be getting closer to 2" of lift from N to H and 4" from L to H.Good morning fellas…
I measured the LX (engine running)
High= 36” Rear ; 35” Front
Low= 35” Rear ; 34” Front
Tires are 20” Michelin Latitude HP Tour with about 5/32 tread left.
Mode | Front | Rear |
L | -60mm | -40mm |
N | 0 | 0 |
H | +50mm | +60mm |
