Well there were a lot of things wrong with the drive-ability of a Jeep - that is true. That’s why I got rid of it after only 10 months (2018 JLUR). I remember that dang thing was always slipping and sliding on the road in the rain. Really made me worry if I had to do a hard brake. Maybe it was just the Jeep but it felt like the tires just had absolutely no grip on wet payment - especially asphalt. I am sure there are other former Jeep owners on here - was that just a Jeep thing or was it the KO2’s?
A 100 series owner here, KO2 are not really confidence inspiring in wet or icy conditions. Here in Wisconsin they did pretty good in fluffy snow and even in deep dry snow but would slip and slide quite dangerously in icy conditions

My Tacoma on KO2’s would spin the tires all the time in rain. Wasn’t for lack of weight either, had drawers, rear bumper with a swing out, canopy, & a rtt. I wouldn’t buy them again.

How did the LX570 picture thread turn into a KO2 review thread 🤦🏻‍♂️😉

I ran several sets of KO2s on my Tacoma while living in rainy Vancouver. Never had any issues in the rain, even under aggressive cornering. Always found them to have very predictable grip, could easily tell when I was on the edge of losing traction.

Wet grip is the no. 1 complaint i hear about KO2 so all the feedback is welcome for me at least.

I will say that people in general are massively over-inflating their LTs though.
They will all skip even when dry out so i don't doubt that is a huge contributing factor.
They are probably the most common AT on the road.

Nice ko2's!
Let me tell you all about em’

This one time when I ran KO2’s on my… 🤪

Well, I ran KO2's for a year, in Seattle, where it rains 9 months out of the year, so there is that... One of the major reasons I think I traded the Jeep in on reflection. Don't want to make the same mistake as I build out my new LX. Being the picture thread, here she is - I took it out on it's first dirt trip a couple of weeks ago. I was amazed at the difference in how smooth it was handling potholes and such compared to both my former Jeep and Chevy ZR2. It's really great, really confidence inspiring.

Hopping off the boat ramp Keechelus doesn’t count 😎

Hey @tbisaacs - Love your build, maybe we could meet up sometime? Keechelus - I don't know - I think it is really fun over there - you can get stuck if you try, especially if it has been raining. It's so dang close and is lots of fun for me anyway, It's a quick way to get off road in an incredibly beautiful place. Have you ever tried Cle Elum Lake in the Fall - that's also a lot of fun to tool around down there - but it's another hour drive from the pass. Although I hear it is "illegal" to do that - but willing to take the chance, especially with everyone else doing it.

Keechelus - I mean this Jeep sure did find it challenging earlier this month... LOL, must be a Jeep thing. (What were they thinking? - the choice of wheels/tires kind of explains it...). Any place where you can total your vehicle should be respected.

Hey, would love to meet up, anytime. I've been all over central WA, happy to share any route you are curious about. Anything east of the Cascades will be mostly accessible all year (East Coluckum, Quilomene, Whiskey Dick, Manastash, parts of umtanum)

I'll post an arty one too.
