Did the loop solo so no spotter. Big ass tires and a bumper are like cheat mode. Did all of the shelves and waterfalls that I could reasonably do without a spotter.

Also this is my Moab face

the mall crawl permit got me good. How do you like your Ironman bumper? What size tires and wheels are you running? AHC lift?

I’m In the same boat a lot of people are….LC vs LX, more (and cleaner) LX’s out there at better prices….and trying to figure out how much I can get away with on the back end mod wise. Yours is exactly what I’m looking for.

Hey, thanks! My build thread thoroughly documents everything: Builds - Travis’s PNW LX570 - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/traviss-pnw-lx570.1010267/#post-11215658

Tires are 295/70/18

love your truck. Can you give me a little info here….tire/wheel size? AHC lift?
AHC lift, Tundra TRD take offs, 1.25" BORA spacers, 285/75R18 Nitto RGs, and a smattering of other mods. Lemme know if you want to know more.

I've thought about starting a hybrid build/adventure thread.

any other mods to clear them 35's?

I ran the Jenny Creek trail in Colorado. I didn't take any pictures of the narrow technical sections but I did have to fold my mirrors several times and my trail tailor shock guards got to do their job.

Is that a rear RLC bumper without swingouts? I'm considering a rear bumper w/o swingouts. How do you like it? How did you deal with the AHC pump and bracket? I searched for you on the RLC rear bumper thread but didn't see anything. Thanks!

The RLC AHC pump thing seems to be a non issue thanks to @Aint Misbehavin

nice! Similar bracket should work for all those looking at the Kaymar rear

Kaymar rear vs. RLC (no swings) rear vs. Slee aluminum (swingless)

Which gets your vote? Maybe single transferable vote, so rank them. GO

How so? That is the RLC bracket.

I think on all of these the position of the wing mount is critical - would determine if the bracket can go around the pump or has to go through it.

Somebody needs to YOLO and buy a Kaymar.

I just meant using that style bracket to mount behind the pump and run under it. From there, you would have to built up to meet the kaymar mounting points. Would be a lot simpler than trying to move the AHC pump.

Dissent. Aluminum and ability to run 1, 2, or 0 swingarms.

Took her to the beach. There's a certain part in Delaware that's about a 13 mile stretch where you can take it on the beach with a permit. Had some stares from all the Jeep guys thinking I would get stuck haha.

There was a certain part where I got stuck, but switched on crawl control and it get out with ease. First time using that feature and it's a really cool one.

I would order with swing outs and then keep them off until you need them. Takes me about 10 min to put on.
If budget is no issue slee wins my vote. I really love their shop and they are great people. Lead time can be a issue there though. I don’t know of Kaymar. I’m really happy with my RLC and there is great customer service with them as well.

Do you take the swing outs on and off as needed? If you do, what do you do about the exposed spindle with the swing out removed?

I do. My easy option for the spindle is a rag and glove zip tied on. Eventually I’ll do like another did and make a plastic piece that will be held in my a bolt from the top of the spindle.

Obvious choice here is Dissent. It's aluminum and modular. You can add swings down the road if you like. My problem with Slee's aluminum no swing is that there is no option to add it in the future if you ever wanted to. Plus Ben has been working with aluminum for years and his weld game is 10/10. That and it's cheaper is a win-win.

New rims and tires. Got the Tundra BBS rims and they came with Michelin LTX AT3 [Edit: it’s AT2] tires.

Rims + tires: $1500
Install at America’s tire: $164

I used the TPMS and valve stem from the OEM 21” tires.
