After getting my tundra take offs with MT’s, figured I better test them out. Got stuck for a couple hours, worsened by south TX rain storm but was able to dig and use enough rocks to get out and hammer my way down the rest of the dirt road. Now if anyone has tips on cleaning carpet, that would be great lol! (The weather techs help but got some behind the pedals)

I can tell you the backing of the carpet is water tight, so you can use as much water as you need, just don’t let it run off the sides into where the A-Pillars are, a lot of electrical there. I’d recommend pulling the plastic door plate with the light in it, as well as the panel at the bottom of the A-Pillar.. that way you can monitor where water is going. Maybe shove a towel along the edge to keep the edge high.

Really great looking truck. Especially decorated like that.

The carpet is actually pretty stain resistant. I always take out the mats and let it dry. Then a good, strong vacuum gets most of it, but a little carpet cleaner and a little elbow grease can get it back to new pretty easily.

if it’s a lot of mud, you are definitely better off letting it dry before trying to get it out. You don’t want it to spread more.

Haha thanks! It was fairly significant, as I got stuck prior to some crazy rainfall, came back, and was on my hands and knees in rushing water and mud trying to get out. Getting in and out of the truck after doing that a few times left a good amount on the perimeter of the carpet, just outside of the weathertech coverage.

Nothing special just went out and took a couple pictures at lunch today:

Awesome! Sell it softly, while it convincingly conceals the big stick that lies underneath. Wolf in sheep's clothing.

Really liking the HWM, and I've been dreaming up reasons to justify one.

Got more pics? :smokin:

I like having the hidden winch for some peace of mind in case I ever get stuck (these things rarely, if ever get stuck, right?) or need to help someone else. But I have to admit I get a little nervous when I think about how the crash bar is deleted for the install.

Ben does some amazing work! Can you still add swing outs on the rear?
Yes sir -- pre-moved the backup camera and had the lights wired so Dissent can ship me swing outs later. I'll time it with upgrading to 35s :hmm:.

Just have to say the subtle color matching and subsequent chrome deletion on your rig is on point. Very well thought out and executed!

Thank you. Ben recommended the power coating color and it came out better than expected.

I like HWM too but no crash bar is no bueno. I figure I’ll get an ARB bumper so I don’t lose safety stuff...and also get the added bonus of being able to potentially push a vehicle out of the way if there’s ever a road block (likely during a riot) I come across...plus some protection from animal strikes.

35's, re-gear, lockers...and down the rabbit hole you go!

Honestly, Fantastic build!
I'll continue to be the fool that doesn't need re-gearing after 35s, bumpers, and 8k lbs gross weight 🤷‍♂️

Oh yea, and a huge RTT!
(Watching this guy park next to me was hilarious. I was watching from the restaurant, and he did several double takes as he got out of the car. I’m sure he was thinking he was so cool with his HE, but then realized all the stuff he was missing out on. At least that’s how it played out in my head) 😂

i get 10.5ish city mpg.

Holy bigs. The HE is a pretty large setup rightout of the gate with its taller ride height. You must be making even the largest rigs put their tails between their legs.

Be nice...
