The old man gold colors are usually the best taken care of and lowest mileage. Wouldn't bother me a bit.
Cause only the old people bought that color! My cruiser is old man gold too and I was shocked at how good the condition was inside and out for 165k miles.

Just picked up these 285/75/18’s for $1200 (wheels and tires) with a good amount of life left. Got about 99% of rubbing gone easily. Need to do sensor lift and get an alignment. Love how it looks...don’t love that as a newbie to anything off road, these are MT’s not AT’s and I didn’t know the difference!

They look great. If you don't like them, you can always sell the tires for a pretty good return if they have a lot of life left. People are always looking for deals on MTs.

Did you mount them and take a picture, or have you driven it? Spacers?

Drove it! Drove more today. Guy I bought them from had 1.25” Bora spacers included. I followed some instructions on the forums from guys who have run 35’s on trimming and it worked out well. MT’s are definitely louder than preference but with a much more infrequent commute nowadays, I’m not too concerned. Now I gotta go try to get stuck somewhere!

Nice, it looks like in the pictures you still have flaps fore and aft of the front wheels. I just made room for 34s on my LX, still working on the wheels, so just did a test fit. I know my 34s were deep into the aft mud flap, although I will say for all the commotion, I’m not sure I would have ever rubbed on the front. I went ahead and moved the front liner forward about an inch anyways. Hopefully I’ll get my RWs with 285/75R17s on soon. Crossing my fingers that I won’t need spacers. Looks okay so far.

Ah! Yes the picture was definitely pre-driving. I took off the flaps up front, followed by moving the front of the liner out more, and trimming the running board where it bolts onto the liner as well.

Hells revenge. I’m loving the RLC rear bumper! iron man front is just OK, anytime I hit anything with it the thing moves in the mounting slots. Yes it’s torqued tight.

That’s a bummer about the front, but the truck looks great and looks like you had a good time.

Yea if you drilled the pin holes to be just big enough for the bolts I wouldn't expect it to move on you

This.

That’s why I was asking. Mine as 100% locked in. No wiggle.
