Trails selection is open and seems to be going well. I was a few minutes delayed opening the trails due to a connectivity issue. Just wanted to pass that along in case you were refreshing at the top of the hour and didn’t notice a way to sign up.

Please text me if you encounter any issues. (My number is in the official newsletter)

I seem to be having problems. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app. I can see the schedule but get an error when I try to add a trail. Not sure if it could be related to me being in England right not or not. Need some help.

Cole and crew thanks so much for your efforts on this. See y'all in a few weeks!

One thing I’d encourage is for people to make there Sched profiles public and include your Mud handle. When we get closer, trail leaders like to have cell numbers too as that’s better for last minute comms.

Yes… Helpful. I’ve sometimes lost track of people’s names in person even though very familiar with them on Mud. Especially true for those with Mud handles that bear no resemblance to their actual names… compounded by the tendency for photos almost never include our mug-shots.

Yep, clearly Indy Cole and the other hosts are ACES in my book. Thanks again gents! Looking forward to another great trip.

I agree and in fact changed my Sched pic to be a semi good rendering of what I will look like most of the time at LCDC!! LOL!

Almost here! Armor up!

^ That's not a Tundra (or was it a Taco from last year?)

The Taco was the 200 stand in last year. I still haven’t buffed out the pin stripes. I just don’t see them any more.

hey all! We are only a few weeks out and this is probably the most excited I’ve been in a while as we get ready to celebrate our 10th anniversary! Looking forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones. Special thanks to our sponsors this year and trail leaders as we wouldn’t be here without them. We’ll have a few extra t-shirts for purchase at the opening and closing events as well. Be on the lookout for more updates on the opening and closing events soon.

Shouldn’t be a problem with me as I’ll be the thin, young looking, attractive guy in the LX with a perfect paint job. I’ll be the one that looks like a young Brad Pitt.

I knew we had things in common, didn’t know we were doppelgängers.

Anybody have a good / preferred source for GPS way points or route files to download for the scheduled trails (or any others in the area)? I'd like to have google offline maps or GAIA GPS preloaded with way points before showing up. Figured I'd ask if anyone had tracks to share before I do the manual labor of trying to create them.

Funtreks website.

Just search the trail name and you can download gpx files that match the book. Get the book too.

Funtreks is great.

There are good details on

As well.

Making preps for the upcoming adventure....changed my oil and I have now decided it's just better to go ahead and remove the first two skids. Every time I change my oil I inevitably get oil all over the top side of the skids so I have to take them of anyway. However I did just order this. I have a smaller version but I think I need the bg boy.

Hey @indycole will you guys specify ham frequencies for each run/trail group or will trail leaders decide? I think I recall the ham frequency for each run being stated in Sched in the past LCDCs.

Good morning. I will be driving from Upstate (Syracuse) NY starting Wednesday the 24th with a goal of picking up my 2 Kids Friday night at Denver airport. Driving down through Columbus, OH and then out 70. Any one from the east coast or along that route is welcome to caravan with me. LMK.
